Made in Germany by Jakob Bengel, this high-style beauty has a 19" split rod-link chain with a springring catch with tortoiseshell celluloid spacers. A Jazz Age Art Deco standing flatware box or chest from the 1930s. This unusual beauty has a silver and red paper Deco design over wood construction and it has a fitted interior. It measures 14-1/2" wide, 5" deep and it stands 11-3/4" tall when resting on its base. It has a silver plated clasp on the hinged lid which opens to reveal the plush-lined fitted interior which has a WM. A. ROGERS silk banner. Very few of these boxes were meant to stand upright, and this one looks great in your deco dining room. A 950 silver Komai damascene panels bracelet circa 1900 1920. This scarce bracelet from Japan features eleven 1-1/16" x 3/8" loop-linked panels with inlaid silver and gold on a black matte (actually iron) ground. The panels resemble those in room dividing screens, and each has a different design and a simple engraved design on the back of the silver sections. A three piece silver plated carving set in the Deauville pattern, introduced by International in 1929. This Art Deco set comes in its original fitted box, and it consists of the 13-3/8" carving knife, the 12-3/4" sharpening steel, and the 11" carving fork. The blue wrapped 15 x 6-1/4" fitted box has a plush interior and it retains the foil International tag on the interior. This set is in very good condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs except for the still sharp knife which has substantial blade loss and fine denting on the handle from sharpening and use over the decades (the blade can be readily replaced).
