A German porcelain chicken figural schnapps or liquor decanter with glasses or cups and tray from the 1920s. This set is in orange, green and yellow luster and the cork-lined stopper shaped like feathers lifts off to reveal a filling hole. It is fully hand painted, the chicken is 8-1/2" long, the two-handled tray is 9-5/8" long and the schnapps shot glasses stand 1-5/8" high and fit on indented circles on the tray. The chicken has an impressed 7791 and a few other stamped numbers, some glasses have impressed numbers and a few are incised GERMANY. This unusual set is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, losses, damage or repairs other than a large reglued section on one cup. 2 of the cups have visible chips, Please note that this set has just 4 out of the 6 original cups - two are missing. An English sterling silver coffee spoons set in the original fitted case or box dated 1927. This fine set includes six 4-3/8" coffee spoons in a velvet and silk lined fitted 6-5/8 x 5-3/4" box with gold stamping and brass fittings. The spoons are hallmarked for Birmingham, England 1927 and they have the maker's mark for Arthur Price & Co. (reg. 1926). Each spoon weighs 12.1 grams and the spoons appear unused however the box shows a bit of edge wear and rubbing which can be touched up with polish if desired. A Birks sterling silver column candlestick from the 1920s. This 5-5/8" tall weighted candle holder measures 2-3/16" across the base and it has a simple style. It is stamped BIRKS STERLING 4/26/ and it weighs 257.1 grams. A pair of superb Czech Deco cabinet plates from the 1920s. This wonderful and decorative pair of Czechoslovakian porcelain 9-1/2" cabinet plates c1920s has an orange and yellow multicolour angular border outside a lush cobalt blue inner rim with gold decoration. The portrait inner has gold decoration around the perimeter and highly detailed and colourful transfer portraits of jewel bedecked young ladies. Each bears the D&F CZECHOSLOVAKIA mark of EPIAG PROESCHOLD & CO. and one plate has a 10661Y design number. A Revernay French art studio pottery vase probably from the 1920s. Made by Atelier Revernay of France (known 1896-1930s), this attractive 8 1/4" tall vase has molded drip highlights and a mottled blue and brown glaze. The blue has deep greenish under-tones. It is hand incised 23 and REVERNAY on the bottom of the vase and it has a MADE IN FRANCE over-glaze mark also. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, damage or repairs however it does have a few burst glaze bubbles around the top edge and one lower down,something that occasionally happened with expanding oxygen reacting with the heat inthe kiln. An Art Deco period silver plated 29" long flapper belt with an Egyptian motif circa 1920s. This vintage waist belt has five 1-1/8" chain-linked discs are set in a double chain belt. Strangely the front of the belt hook and eye buckle section on this elegant fashion accessory features a small fleur-de-lys. Finding the tomb of King Tutankhamen in the early 1920s started a fashion for anything in ancient Egyptian style. A pair of Roden (Birks) sterling 1930s napkin rings. Roden (of Toronto) was bought out by Birks in 1928. These 5/8" wide sterling napkin ring measures 1-3/4" across and they have the Roden maker's mark and STERLING. Birks bought all Roden's inventory and parts and molds, and the Roden mark can be seen on some Birks silver items until several years after. They weighs 13.0 grams and they are in excellent vintage condition with no breaks, bends, corrosion, losses, or repairs. One has a very shallow Janie monogram and the other is blank. A Grenfell flying Canada geese 23" x 15" hooked mat wall hanging with label from the 1920s-30s. This fine and vintage beauty depicts two flying Canada geese over green and tan pine trees. It has the fine work typical of Grenfell with the expected mix of various fabrics. The colours include tan, brown, cream, black, grey and copper and it has the original Grenfell Labrador Industries red on white sewn label on the underside. It also has two sewn corners with metal eyelets for hanging on a wall which are probably original (and appear to be made of bra straps - Grenfell used whatever materials that were donated). This fine piece of Canadian folk art is in near mint original condition with no fading, staining, rips, tears, wear, corrosion, damage or repairs other than a gentle central bend from long-term storage.
