A Charles Horner sterling silver hot water pot hallmarked for Birmingham, England 1906. This fine serving piece of Edwardian antique sterling silver stands 6-5/8" to the top of the carved bolt-mounted finial, 6-3/4" from handle to spout and it weighs 255.3 grams (8.2 troy ounces). It has the hallmarks for Charles Horner, it is in the Queen Anne style and it is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than two small and shallow depressions/dents above the reeded base and a shallow flattened area on the base rim. An English sterling silver coffee spoons set in the original fitted case or box dated 1927. This fine set includes six 4-3/8" coffee spoons in a velvet and silk lined fitted 6-5/8 x 5-3/4" box with gold stamping and brass fittings. The spoons are hallmarked for Birmingham, England 1927 and they have the maker's mark for Arthur Price & Co. (reg. 1926). Each spoon weighs 12.1 grams and the spoons appear unused however the box shows a bit of edge wear and rubbing which can be touched up with polish if desired. A great gift and this set is in excellent condition as described. A Barker Bros. silver plated asparagus server cradle with tray. This super classy table server consists of the 11-1/2 x 6" pierced footed asparagus cradle or drainer and the matching 15-1/4 x 6-1/8" two-handled underplate or tray with bun feet. The cradle has a wirework frame and rest for a butter or sauce boat (not present) and the tray has the mark for Barker Brothers of Birmingham, England. This vegetable server probably dates to the 1950s and it is in excellent condition with no wear, monograms, dents, corrosion, damage or repairs other than a slight downturn on one corner of the cradle and the loss of the small sauce pourer. A pair of Roden (Birks) sterling 1930s napkin rings. Roden (of Toronto) was bought out by Birks in 1928. These 5/8" wide sterling napkin ring measures 1-3/4" across and they have the Roden maker's mark and STERLING. Birks bought all Roden's inventory and parts and molds, and the Roden mark can be seen on some Birks silver items until several years after.
