The carat weight calculator indicates the stone is approximately 2.4 carats as measured in setting. The flash has green and blue highlights with a nice internal red fire. The mark was too worn to read, and the ring tests as 14 K. It weighs 3.7 grams. A genuine 3 strand angel coral necklace with a carved coral drop from the 1980s. This wonderful and scarce necklace features three strands of genuine white and orange/pink angel hair coral 5.3 mm. beads and three baroque pearl and two gold bead spacers per strand. We haven't tested the gold but the coral tests as genuine and it is undyed and original in colour. The shortest strand is 28" and the hand carved floral drop measures 1-3/8 x 3/4". The workmanship is very fine and the drop's tiny linking coral beads are as small as 1.7 mm. A 12K Egyptian rose gold genuine yellow topaz ring. This vintage size 6-1/2 or 6.5 genuine topaz solitaire has gold hallmark for Egypt. The date mark may be for 1943 -1944, but that may vary by city where assayed. The claw-set stone is a rectangular faceted or emerald cut, and is a definite yellow with very slight brown under-tone, and has an excellent clarity. The topaz measures 11.5mm x 9.1mm and has a depth of 7.3mm, so it is slightly over 5 carats in size. The ring weighs 3.2 grams. We also tested the ring, and it appears to be closer to 14K, but is being sold according to its assay mark. An 18k sapphires and diamonds double row ring circa 1980. This vintage custom made yellow gold wedding band is a size 6-3/4 or 6.75 and set with either genuine blue sapphires or genuine blue spinels and diamonds. It features 12 fairly well-matched channel set royal blue gem stones in groups of four separated by two pairs of single point genuine diamonds. There is a slight variation of shades of blue in the stones, and they are fairly clear gems. The sapphires/spinels are princess cut or square cut, and are bezel set, so their size is 5-6 points each, estimated by gauge in setting. It weighs 3.1 gr. and the flat band design feels comfortable on and sits so could be worn with a solitaire ring. It measures 5/8" across the gem section and is 3/16" wide. It is stamped 750 (for 18 K ). The gem stones may be just a shade deeper blue than our photos, due to photo flash. It would make a unique wedding band for those who would like more than diamonds. It is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs, it has patination from use. A Birks sterling silver yellow sapphire school graduation ring dated 1976 from St. Thomas More Secondary School in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. This size 8-3/4 ring features a natural yellow sapphire, it measures 11/16" wide across the setting and it has a 76 date on one shoulder and GM initials on the other. It is stamped with partial marks for BIRKS and STERLING which have been obscured due to a resizing in the past. Mexican sterling silver heavy link section bangle bracelet circa 1970s 1980. This modernist sculptural 13/16" wide vintage bracelet is a Castillo design and it consists of fully hinged segments with a tall push-button box clasp. It is stamped TC-117 MEXICO 925 and it weighs an substantial 115.3 grams (3.7 ounces). Nicely finished designer quality. It is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. We are not sure if TC-117 was one of the various Castillo studio marks, so unable to attribute it definitely to that firm. It certainly has the weight and stunning quality of a genuine Castillo piece. Each link freely pivots on the hinge and it measures approximately 6-3/4" in length (may be a little longer, the hinges made the tape measure go off a little). The hinges allow it to be round or oval in shape, so the interior measurement is 2" across in the round shape. The widest oval shape is 2-5/8" x 1-5/8". The hinges are just under 1/8" in width, so the measurements were taken from the hinges rather than the interior flat sections. Each link is a maximum 7/16" above the hinge. All condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have signs of use and patina as would be expected. A 14k yellow gold treble clef on a musical staff pendant charm probably from the 1970s 1980s. It measures 1 x 1/2", it has some hand sculpting and cutwork and it weighs 2.2 grams.
