A pair of stunning hand painted and gilt metal mounted 19th century Sevres style plant pots or jardinieres. This pair consists of two French porcelain 9-1/2" diameter and 7-3/4" tall planters with white glazed interiors and painted scenes on the exterior. The scenes include floral panels and 18th century couples on a deep turquoise blue ground with hand gilding. Each pot is mounted on a footed gilt brass stand, which has two side straps with lion heads with mouth tassels. Each strap is mounted to a top beaded collar anchoring the pot to the fittings. They have a blue painted Sevres style mark and the uprights are stamped AH on the interior. Condition is reasonable considering their age, with the following issues: there is minor gilding loss, one metal arm/upright has been broken in three pieces and it has been crudely soldered and re-broken, some of the screws are replacements and one segment of one support column has been refastened on a different part of the upper collar on one pot. One pot and fittings is intact, the other needs some professional brazing and refitting of the fractured column. The pots themselves are in excellent condition with no crazing, chips, cracks or repairs other than some minor wear to the gilding and some dulling of the interior bottom glaze from use in the past. We've seen the supports offered online on occasion (rescued from broken examples) so it may be possible to replace the damaged one. This handsome matching pair is in as-described condition as stated above. A Royal Dux Woman on Waterfall 440 porcelain figure from the 1912 era with superb detail. This beautifully modeled 15-3/4" Bohemian porcelain figurine depicts a nude woman perched on rocks over a waterfall. This figure has a matte grey glaze with gold highlights. It is replete with much bocage including branches; her face is attractive and finely painted. It has the orange Royal Dux applied triangle mark with an impressed 440 pattern number along with a painted 35 and it dates to the 1910 era. This item is in very good condition with no cracks, crazing, losses, damage or repairs other than a small chip to the bocage and some darkening from soot (it was in a house that suffered a fire). A fine quality and vintage hand painted Dresden porcelain 3-1/4" tall lidded mustard pot c1900-20. This lovely German porcelain serving piece features ornate and fine hand painted floral groupings in lush colours as well as gold highlights and trim. It features a crowned H Dresden mark from one of the decorating studios (we haven't been able to definitively identify the studio, although possibly it could be an early Franziska Hirsch mark); it is in excellent condition with no chips, crazing, cracks, losses, damage or repairs. A Royal Bayreuth sheep in meadow wall plaque from the 1900 1910 era. This attractive handpainted over transfer 9-5/8" porcelain wall plaque (or cabinet plate) depicts 5 sheep in a pasture. This Edwardian plate has the blue mark used after 1902, and this plate is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, losses, damage or repairs other than some wear to the gold on a section of the ornate rim, a couple of tiny paint scrapes (or misses) on the pasture and a few overglazed stress cracks on the side of the bottom rim (not shown). A 19thC Imari ironstone decorative plate. This vintage 19th century 10" ironstone dinner plate is in the Imari palette. This plate is marked IRONSTONE WARRANTED with a crown in blue on the back, and it has a red 5 at the bottom rim and probably dates to the 1830s. A very early and scarce Arts and Crafts 8" American pottery vase in the Early Velmoss pattern, made by Roseville. This vase features an Arts & Crafts design with leaves; the glaze is a pleasant green with bluish and tan highlights, as well as relief molding. It has the bottom finish typical of this pattern, and it has remnants of the original pencil marks (otherwise this piece is unsigned). An early and beautiful genuine Aesthetic period covered entree dish by Copeland Spode c1870-90. This 14 x 7-3/4" English serving piece has lush gilding, relief handles and branch-style finial and fine handpainting over transfer. It has grape and vine leaves, feeding birds, foliage and a butterfly; it is stamped (faintly) COPELAND with various underglaze numbers and letters and it has painted D9875 markings.
