A 14k jadite or jadeite bangle bracelet from the 1930s. This exceptional vintage round yellow gold and genuine natural jadeite bracelet features hand engraved gold encasing or wrapping around the light green mottled jade. Unlike many examples this one has continuous gold around the interior and six wraps around the jade hoop. It measures 2-3/8" across the interior wall (inside of bangle measurement) and is 5/16" wide or thick. It has a box clasp with a heart shaped button and a safety chain. It is stamped 585 and 14K on the tongue of the clasp and the hinge is tightly made so as not to show unless it is opened. This beauty could be older than the 1930s and it weighs 26.5 grams. A Birks 14K gold charm bracelet with 7 different 14k or 18K figural charms circa 1930s and possibly later. The bracelet itself is 7-1/2" long and the loops are 1/4" at widest. The charms are:
- an 18k gold ladies figure skate with a white painted enamel except for the skate inner flap, which is red. About 1/5 of the enamel is worn, otherwise quite intact. 3/4" x 5/8".
- a moveable 18k Italian Commedia dell'Arte sad clown figure. He is not always shown with the pointed cap, and the face is a bird mask. Modern versions of this figure rarely show that cap, now it is usually a rounded one. His arms and legs move freely. The large round raised dots are meant to represent his oversized pompoms. 1-3/8" tall.
- a 14k Spanish bullfighter/toreador with cape and bull. 7/8" tall.
- an 18k Venetian gondola boat with gondolier figure. 1-1/8" length.
an 18k donkey or pack animal with harness and saddle. 3/4" x 1/2" tall
- a 14k horn - it is either an older bugle horn or a traditional hunting horn. 3/4" x 1/2". (585 mark).
- an 18k bucket with handle containing a champagne bottle (European hallmarks, possibly French). 3/4" tall.
