A Georgian 14k glass emerald and diamonds ring circa 1780-1800. This antique yellow gold (unmarked but tested and guaranteed) ring features a 3/8" across top which has claw set early silver coloured genuine rose cut diamonds surrounding an emerald coloured glass stone. Emeralds then were a scarce and difficult stone to acquire, so the use of a cut glass "gem" with diamonds was not unusual. This ring weighs 2.5 grams and it is in excellent original condition with no cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than chips under two claws of the glass emerald stone. A genuine George III English Spade Guinea coin pendant dated 1791 and made of 22K gold. This is a genuine antique Georgian period gold coin from the UK - it was only in production from 1787-99. It measures 1" across and it has been soldered to a 14k or 15k mount with an attached loop for wear as a pendant or as a watch fob. This coin shows considerable wear (high carat gold was very soft and wore easily) however the subject matter and date is clearly visible. A later Georgian period 15k yellow gold remembrance or mourning ring with genuine pearls circa 1820 - 1830. This beautiful antique size 6 ring is typically unmarked and it tests as 15k, and it most likely of United Kingdom origin. It has a bevelled glass window for hair (no hair present) and the shoulders are thickly sculpted with a multi-floral pattern sometimes seen on jewellery or decor of this period. An early Empire 15k superbly carved cameo pin circa 1820. This hand carved shell portrait cameo measures 2 x 1-3/4" and it features lovely tooling with a pierced gallery, and a twist border with applied textured flowers and leaves. The cameo itself is one of the most attractively carved we have seen- simply stunning in detail and she is wearing an Empire headdress. This great example of Victorian period sentimental or mourning hair jewellery is in 15k yellow gold with a centrally set genuine 12 pt. rose cut diamond and a compartment on the back containing a curl of blonde hair with a silk cord. An 1894 South Africa 1/2 Kruger Pond 22k gold coin mining brooch pin. This unusual pin was assembled as a souvenir of the South African gold mines and these coins were frequently brought back to the U.K. after the Boer war as souvenirs. This 2-1/8" example was constructed around the same time as the mintage of the coin which is in 22k gold (9 mm, 3.99 grams). It is mounted in a braided ring with finely wrought mine picks and shovel spades with gold nuggets - the setting tests as 10k gold. It has the original c-clasp and a safety chain and it weighs a total of 7.3 grams. Although soldered into the ring the coin remains in superb condition and this scarce historical souvenir of the gold trade in South Africa is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. A Victorian 14k diamond brooch circa 1890. This antique 1" across whirling circle pin has a free and graceful open filigree design. This round yellow gold pin shows the transition from stylized Victorian to the more flowing Art Nouveau influence. It measures 1 inch across, and in the centre is a claw set clear white genuine European antique cut diamond, measuring 3.5 mm. across (approximately 20 pt. by gauge) - it is is VS2 diamond of I-J colour. It has the original gate-latch safety clasp, where it is stamped 14 K. It is in very good condition, with all of the claw work in excellent condition, and the diamond in excellent condition also, but please note there appears to be an old professional repair visible only on the back of the brooch. It comes with an old appraisal.

An impressive Regency period 15k gold long necklace with ornate slide c1830-40. This superb example measures 62" long, it has a large well-made slide with black enamel, and it is constructed of double pulley-style interlinked gold loops. The 1" across and 1/4" thick slide has an engraved L. Gordon inscription on one side; it is unmarked and unsigned but tests as 15k gold. The slide has holes where a scarab or possibly a cameo was mounted (and another piece of your choice could be mounted on it), and it weighs an impressive 59.0 grams (almost 2 ounces!). A lovely mid-Victorian piece of hair jewellery in 10k yellow gold c1860-80. This 1-3/4" x 1-3/8" pendant features a fine hand engraved (unmarked but tested) gold surround with a central concave transluscent moonstone agate, on which is mounted a gold-bordered hair insert. The insert and surround are bolted to the agate with hand-cut bolts, and it retains the original finely braided black hair, bezel and glass window. This item has been converted to a pendant, with a loop attached through a small drilled hole; the hinge for the pin remains and it could easily be converted back to a brooch with the addition of a pin and catch. A large 10K rotating hair brooch with photo 1860-70. This opulent (typically unmarked but tested) 10k yellow gold rotating or turning hair brooch has a photo on the other side. This mid-Victorian 2-5/8 x 2-3/8" pin features a finely plaited brown and blonde hair display on one side and a hand-tinted albumin photograph of a bearded and bald gentleman on the other. Each side is under glass and the center display rotates freely on its perpendicular pivot. It has its original c-clasp and attached loop for wear as a pendant, and it weighs 27.6 grams. The photo has some red blush added to his cheeks and lips; this is somewhat faded in our photos and it is quite apparent in real life.
