A lovely lady's Ryrie (later Birks) hanging watch in 9k rose gold c1910. This 1-1/8" diameter watch features a single sunk seconds dial, blued hands and black Roman numerals and a large hinged rectangular loop for hanging. The face is marked RYRIE, and the case is stamped with London, England import gold marks with a 109926 serial number. The 15/16" (24 mm.) diameter works are stamped 3326279 RYRIE VERNON 15 JEWELS; Vernon was Ryrie's quality gold watch line and they used Waltham works according to archive catalogues. This watch is suspended from a 10k yellow gold pin featuring the three loop Rebekah lodge symbol. The pin has a safety catch, and this pin and watch measures 2-1/4 x 1-1/4" in total. It weighs 18.2 grams, and this watch runs and keeps time, however we recommend that all timepieces be professionally cleaned and adjusted. A retro Halbe rhinestone floral spray brooch with gold plating circa 1960. Halbe was an American firm, located at 411-5th Ave. New York circa 1950-1963 (thank you to Illusion Jewels for the information and a great research site). This 2-3/8" x 1-1/8" elegant brooch has baguette and round rhinestones; the pin is rhodium plated on back but the centers of the flowers, stems and bottom of spray are gold plated on the front. A Regency period rolled gold plate mourning locket with enamel c1835. This 1-5/16" locket features an engine turned design on each side, a watch-style bale for hanging from a chain, pin or chatelaine, and it has a removable central compartment for hair or a memento. The front is hinged and swings out to reveal the contents, which are under bevelled glass (a curl of brown hair and woven black fabric). It has a hand-engraved dedication saying: "IN MEMORY OF Margaret Maclachlin Jane Magregor Died 1839. Dugalt Maclachlin Died 21st April 1849." This pendant has blue enamelling, and it is in very good original condition with no dents, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some shallow denting to the panels, some tiny enamel losses and the smashing of the glass insert. An impressive Regency period 15k gold long necklace with ornate slide c1830-40. This superb example measures 62" long, it has a large well-made slide with black enamel, and it is constructed of double pulley-style interlinked gold loops. The 1" across and 1/4" thick slide has an engraved L. Gordon inscription on one side; it is unmarked and unsigned but tests as 15k gold. The slide has holes where a scarab or possibly a cameo was mounted (and another piece of your choice could be mounted on it), and it weighs an impressive 59.0 grams (almost 2 ounces!). A quality 14k rhodolite garnet and enamel stickpin circa 1860. This large, heavy and superb 19th century stickpin is in 14k yellow gold, with a 40 point purplish pink rhodolite garnet and enamelling. The garnet is claw-set in an incised star and surrounded by an enamelled six-pointed star in cobalt enamel (more purple than in our photographs). The twisted-shaft pin measures 2-3/4" long and the head of this stickpin measures 5/8" across. It weighs an impressive 6.4 grams and the stone has been checked by a gemmologist. It consists of 9 hand-hammered and cut segments ranging in size from 1-3/8 x 7/8" to 2-1/2 x 2". Each has an applied silver-backed skin of 18k gold in the form of Inca gods. A strand of genuine cultured pearls circa 1960s with a marked 14K yellow gold clasp and 14k ball spacers. This vintage 38-3/4" necklace has 128 cultured pearls ranging from 7 to 5.5 mm in size. the gold beads consist of one 6.5 mm, two at 4.5 mm and two at 4 mm. The pearls between the gold balls have two smaller pearls flanking three of the 7 mm. pearls, while the pearls leading to the clasp are strung with a length of 5.5 mm pearls leading to a length of 7 mm. pearls. This size 7-1/4 late Edwardian-early Art Deco ring features a pleasing circular loop design with a central deep blue round faceted 45 point (calculated) sapphire flanked by two bright and flashy cabochon opals. The opals have excellent clarity and they have vivid blue and green flash with orange fire. The setting measures 1/2 x 5/16", this ring weighs 2.6 grams and it is stamped PALLADIUM.
