A striking vintage Mexican sterling pendant set with a mixture of inlaid lapis and malachite, with a large cabochon cut tiger eye gem in the centre c1950-60. Two of the dangling pendants are also inlaid with lapis and malachite, and the centre dangle is solid silver. The pendant alone measures 3-3/4" x 2-1/8", and weighs 26.2 grams. It is stamped STERLING 925 with the eagle mark with a 2 in the centre, and the initials MR. There was a silversmith named Melecio Rodriguez who worked at the Rancho Alegre and for Margot de Taxco, but I can't verify if this is his work or not. A 10k purple sapphire ring with white sapphires from the 1950s. This size 7 ring features a lovely and very flashy cushion cut purple sapphire (tests as sapphire on our gem tester) flanked by two small white sapphires in a 10k yellow gold setting. It measures 3/8 x 5/16" across the setting, it weighs 2.4 grams and it is marked 10K with an A+A maker's mark. The stone calculates to 2.1 carats in size and this ring is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs. A signed Thomas Kerr Ebbutt galleon sailing ship sterling silver pin or brooch fully hallmarked for Edinburgh, Scotland 1959. It has the Ebbutt maker's mark (in use from 1937-69), it weighs 7.5 grams and there is a ribbon below the Viking style ship which has never been engraved. This necklace has claw-set flashy rhinestones in teardrop, baguette and round cuts and it has a hook end. The central 3-1/2" wide trefoil central drop is layered, giving a three-dimensional aspect to this fine necklace; it hangs 2-3/8" down from the line of the necklace. A 10K golden sapphire ring from the 1940s 1950 period. This size 4-1/2 or 4.5 yellow gold ring features a tested golden rectangle cut cut sapphire stone of approximately 3.75 carats (estimated from gauge measurement). The gem color is a golden orange or gold orange colour. It weighs 2.7 grams, and it is stamped 10K with slightly obscured maker's marks and the Canadian manufacture mark. This stylish ring measures 3/8 x 5/16" (10mm x 8mm x 4.5mm). It is in excellent condition with no break, corrosion, losses, damage or known repairs. The stone tests as a sapphire. Golden sapphires were much less expensive in this time period, and the stone is likely the original stone, but we cannot guarantee it has not been color treated. A hand engraved Smibo sterling silver rectangular hinged bangle bracelet from the 1950s. It measures 2-1/8 x 2" across the interior and it is 1/2" wide. It has a safety chain, a box clasp and it is engraved on one half. Unusually it is of rectangular hollow construction unlike most and it is stamped SMIBO STERL..
