A 10k opal and garnets ring from the 1950s. This great looking vintage 1950s 10k yellow gold size 6-1/4 ring features a colourful natural opal flanked by two garnets. This ring features a claw-set 11mm x 9 mm. natural opal which measures 3 mm. deep; the Bohemian garnets are also genuine stones and are a wonderful deep red. This ring weighs 3.5 grams, and the opal shows intense green and blue flash with an underlying orange (much more vivid in person than in our pictures); it is stamped 10K with an FJ maker's mark. A Mexican sterling silver necklace and bracelet set by Artemio Navarrette. He was a master silversmith who worked for William Spratling, later producing jewelry under his own name. This 2 pc. set consists of the 7" length bracelet and the matching 15-1/4" length necklace. Each has a hook and eye clasp, they are made out of domed cutout 11/16" across segments. Both bracelet and necklace are stamped STERLING 925 and HECHO EN MEXICO TAXCO with what looks like a a joined AV maker's mark - it is actually an N with the first part made into an A. A 14k Italian baroque and teardrop pearls ring from the 1980s. This size 4-1/2 yellow gold ring has a wonderful modernist look to it and it has 9 baroque pearls. It measures 1 x 5/8" across the cluster of pearls which have deep lustre and shine. One pearl is distinctly pink and four others have pinkish colouration; the rest are a fine creamy white.
