A 10k opal and garnets ring from the 1950s. This great looking vintage 1950s 10k yellow gold size 6-1/4 ring features a colourful natural opal flanked by two garnets. This ring features a claw-set 11mm x 9 mm. natural opal which measures 3 mm. deep; the Bohemian garnets are also genuine stones and are a wonderful deep red. This ring weighs 3.5 grams, and the opal shows intense green and blue flash with an underlying orange (much more vivid in person than in our pictures); it is stamped 10K with an FJ maker's mark. An Art Nouveau sterling silver lady with poppy brooch circa 1900. A flowing haired fin-du-siecle beauty, staring wistfully off, with a large poppy (a symbol of forgetfulness) beside her. It is a large brooch, measuring 2" x 2-1/4". It is stamped STERLING and it has the original c-clasp. Kerr and Gorham and a few other firms were well known for these sterling hollow Art Nouveau face pins. It is stamped Sterling only, but is clearly a fine quality example. A Mexican sterling silver necklace and bracelet set by Artemio Navarrette. He was a master silversmith who worked for William Spratling, later producing jewelry under his own name. This 2 pc. set consists of the 7" length bracelet and the matching 15-1/4" length necklace. Each has a hook and eye clasp, they are made out of domed cutout 11/16" across segments. Both bracelet and necklace are stamped STERLING 925 and HECHO EN MEXICO TAXCO with what looks like a a joined AV maker's mark - it is actually an N with the first part made into an A.
