A pair of Qing dynasty Chinese cloisonne enamel lobed plant pots or jardinieres. These late 18th/early 19th century shrub pots are similar but not identical. The 7-1/2" x 5-3/4" bowls feature blue grounds and well-executed multi-colour cloisonne designs. They are both footed and each has water drain holes in the bottoms. Each bowl has some damage, with incomplete or chipped enamel under the rims, enamel misses and chips and a large loss to the upper rim enamel on one pot. This pair is in fair original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than stated above (see pictures). A pair of Roden sterling silver handle wood salad servers. These ornate 10-1/4" serving implements feature wooden spoon and fork inserts with sterling silver handles marked with the Roden mark along with REG'D 1901 STERLING. Birks took them over later but the 1901 registry mark indicates an Edwardian date for the manufacture of these servers. A vintage c1930s ornate pair of sterling silver open salt dishes in the form of winged swans with cobalt glass salt dishes. The swans have fine detail and embossing along with openwork; the wings are riveted with silver plate on brass pins. These fine table decorations measure 3" long and 3" tall. The swans test as silver (they are unmarked) and the wings pivot a bit, and this fine set is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. A pair of stunning hand painted and gilt metal mounted 19th century Sevres style plant pots or jardinieres. This pair consists of two French porcelain 9-1/2" diameter and 7-3/4" tall planters with white glazed interiors and painted scenes on the exterior. The scenes include floral panels and 18th century couples on a deep turquoise blue ground with hand gilding. Each pot is mounted on a footed gilt brass stand, which has two side straps with lion heads with mouth tassels. Each strap is mounted to a top beaded collar anchoring the pot to the fittings. They have a blue painted Sevres style mark and the uprights are stamped AH on the interior. Condition is reasonable considering their age, with the following issues: there is minor gilding loss, one metal arm/upright has been broken in three pieces and it has been crudely soldered and re-broken, some of the screws are replacements and one segment of one support column has been refastened on a different part of the upper collar on one pot. One pot and fittings is intact, the other needs some professional brazing and refitting of the fractured column. The pots themselves are in excellent condition with no crazing, chips, cracks or repairs other than some minor wear to the gilding and some dulling of the interior bottom glaze from use in the past. We've seen the supports offered online on occasion (rescued from broken examples) so it may be possible to replace the damaged one. This handsome matching pair is in as-described condition as stated above. A Queen Victoria Diamond Jubilee china teapot with enamel decoration circa 1897. This scarce royalty commemorative antique teapot celebrates the Diamond Jubilee of the reign of Queen Victoria. This black glaze Jackfield style English teapot measures 9-1/4" across the handle and spout and it stands 7" tall; it has a gold coloured stencil of Victoria on one side and the commemorative legend on the other. There are also thistles, roses and shamrocks and there are hand applied enamels in orange, white and blue. It is stamped in gold MADE IN ENGLAND 936 F on the bottom and this item is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, staining, losses, repairs or damage other than some allover crazing to the black glaze showing white in a few places and grey in most (see pictures); the lid is uncrazed. A true rarity of vintage American pressed or pattern glass. This is the 5-1/4" long and 4-5/8" wide wall pocket in the Elephant or Jumbo pattern in amber glass, issued by the King Glass Co. in 1890. Variously described as a match holder, match striker, wall pocket or vase, this item has vivid and crisp detail. It is 2-3/4" deep and is guaranteed to be antique glass. This item is in fair original condition with no chips, losses, damage or repairs other than a large internal crack below the eye and above the tusks. This crack is visible from the front and around the back and it appears to be a dividing line between the light upper glass and the deeper amber hue of the glass in the trunk. It can't be felt from the front but can be felt with a fingernail on the interior - the integrity of the piece is intact. A Rowland & Marsellus Winnipeg Manitoba flow blue souvenir plate from the 1900 era. This 10-1/8" late Victorian English ceramic rolled edge display plate features views of Winnipeg Manitoba including the Canadian buffalo, Wesley College, Seven Oaks Monument, Fort Garry, Holy Trinity Church, Deaf and Dumb Institute and City Hall and Volunteers Monument. it is stamped with the blue Rowland & Marsellus mark and it states this plate was made for the Imperial Dry Goods Co. A Royal Crown Derby Traditional Old Imari 2451 pattern demitasse cup and saucer from the 1930s. A Royal Dux Woman on Waterfall 440 porcelain figure from the 1912 era with superb detail. This beautifully modeled 15-3/4" Bohemian porcelain figurine depicts a nude woman perched on rocks over a waterfall. This figure has a matte grey glaze with gold highlights. It is replete with much bocage including branches; her face is attractive and finely painted. It has the orange Royal Dux applied triangle mark with an impressed 440 pattern number along with a painted 35 and it dates to the 1910 era. A Sadler green with gold roses Victorian style teapot with booklet circa 1960. This 7" tall and 9-1/2" along the spout and handle teapot has a 3852 (or 3552) pattern number and it features green trim with gold decoration and roses stenciling. It includes a multi-page booklet detailing instructions and history and by the 3-digit Ontario area code it dates to the very early 1960s. A set for 12 mother of pearl handle silver plated fish knives and forks from the 1897-1900 era. This 24 piece set consists of the 7-7/8" fish knives and the 6-3/4" forks. Each piece has a mother of pearl handle with excellent lustre and green and pink flash. The ferrules are unmarked and nicely embossed (they may be silver - we haven't tested them and it wasn't required to mark small, light items). The silver plated fittings (knife blades and forks) have ornate and attractive hand engraving and they have the maker's mark for Harrison Fisher of Sheffield, England (established 1897, this mark in use from 1897-1900). A set of 6 David Andersen Norway enamel demitasse coffee spoons with a box from the 1960s. This set consists of the six 3-3/4" spoons which all have enamelled handles and bowls on gilt sterling. The backs are plain gilded silver and they have the Andersen marks and each spoon weighs 9.0 grams. The enamel colours include sea blue, navy blue, yellow, green and deep red and they come with a fitted, silk-lined box with brass fittings and impressed alligator brown paper wrap. A sterling silver nutmeg grater circa 1890s. It may actually be older. This American antique 1-3/4" x 1-3/8" egg shaped sterling grater has the original interior gilt rasp and interior gilding. Nutmeg was an expensive imported spice when first introduced to Europe and to North America, and it became enormously popular as a condiment. A sterling silver nutmeg grater was a sign of prosperity, as well as indicating a great fondness for the spice, of which aficionados would grate to their own taste when sitting down to eat. Not easy to find them anymore. This antique example features fine ornate leaf hand engraving and a dedication saying Z.S.J. to M.M.J. 25th. Dec 1893. A fine Christmas gift indeed. It is stamped STERLING along the gilt inner rim, the gilding on the interior and rasp is a rich gold in colour and intact. This collectible silver item is in very good condition with no losses, damage or repairs other than a bit of surface staining/residue on the gilding on the lid and rasp and three very shallow dents on the outside. An Unger Bros. 4 piece sterling silver brush, mirror and box dresser set from the 1890s. This fancy repousse sets consists of the 9-3/8 x 5" hand mirror with beveled glass, the 9 x 2-3/4" natural bristle hair brush, the 2" across round lidded pomade, salve or rouge pot or box with a gilded interior and an associated (not Unger) 3-5/8 x 1-1/8" natural bristle clothes or dress brush. Three pieces feature the Unger Brothers mark and STERLING 925 FINE and the small brush is marked STERLING 925/1000 8164. This set is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs; the large and small brushes have a minor bit of edge denting and the mirror has some moderate edge denting. Also the large brush and mirror have some minor dents to the cartouches which have never been engraved or monogrammed. A Victoria Austria R.S. Prussia ornate lustre teapot. This antique Edwardian bone china porcelain teapot with a floral and lustre finish c1910 stands 6-3/4" high to the top of the fancy finial and it measures 7-5/8" from the spout to the edge of the handle. It was made (and stamped by) Victoria Austria who bought blanks for factory decoration - in this case a genuine R.S. Prussia blank. This lovely tableware serving item has a pale greenish/yellow ground with pink and green floral arrays plus greenish/blue highlights and gold embellishment. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, losses, damage or repairs other than a bit of wear to the blue/green areas and some minor gold losses and slight chipping to the (hidden) bottom rim.
