A signed Kanyengeh 6 Nations large pottery vase signed Dee 1977. This Native Canadian pottery vase has the famous sculpted exterior and brown glaze with the turquoise blue interior. It features incised animals including a fox, bear, heron, moose, beaver, bird and turtle and it measures an impressive 7" tall. It is incised KANYENGEH POTERY DEE (Martin) 1977 with a vase symbol - other examples by Dee have the feather mark. This company hails from the Brantford area of Southern Ontario and their work is quite distinctive and sought after (the pottery is now closed). A pair of Gorham 1190 sterling silver convertible 11-1/4" candlesticks with 3 pieces. These weighted candlesticks include the weighted 4-3/4" bases which act as short candlesticks, the 2-7/8" candle holder bell which can mount to the bases or on top of the 4-1/8" conical taper which can also screw into the base. When all pieces are mounted these fine table decorations are 11-1/4" tall. They have the Gorham marks on the bottom and they are probably from the 1950s or 1970s. They are good quality and they are in very good condition with no monograms, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than some rim denting to the small upper pieces, a small shallow dent to the conical middle piece on one stick and some spotty clouding from old tarnish on one stick which can be polished or buffed if you want to put in the work to do so. An Italy modernist cubist teal glass large display bottle from the 1970s. This 12" tall and 7-1/4" wide bottle retains its original cube stopper; the design is cubist and it would fit in with any modern style decor (beside your German pottery vases). It is a two-mold bottle and it is moulded with MADE IN ITALY on the bottom. The colour is a vibrant teal blue. It in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, damage or repairs other than the possible loss of a plastic or cork liner for the insert of the stopper which now sits loosely in the neck. These hollow handle 7" knives have a hammered finish and an attractive somewhat Arts and Crafts design handle, and are stamped 800 with the German silver mark along with the maker's mark for M.H. A classic elegant sterling silver scalloped or Chippendale edge round serving tray by Birks. This sterling tray measures 14 inches across, it weighs 1,049 grams (approximately 33.67 troy ounces), and it comes with the original blue cloth Birks bag and box. It is stamped BIRKS STERLING 89/9 and it has the year stamp for 1972. The tray item is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs, and it has not been monogrammed nor engraved, nor used much, as possibly indicated by the rather clear view of the photographer's mid-section.... The cardboard Birks box has some scrapes, tape and writing on it.
