This 12-1/4" English art pottery vase has the pattern number 1398, it is fully hand decorated and it has the Beswick England mark. Melbourne was known for his futuristic modern designs and this fine example is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, damage or repairs. A set of 7 hoosier glass storage jars from the 1930s with the original lids. These pressed glass hoosier kitchen food storage jars have their original aluminum lids which still fits tightly. The set consists of a set of seven including five of the 4-1/4" spice jars and two of the 7-3/4" tall canister jars. All have a ribbed pattern and all have a blank area for a contents label except for one which has an embossed COFFEE. We don't know who made them and they are in very good useful condition with no cracks, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some denting on the edge of one large lid and some minor chipping and roughness to the glass support rim on two of the small jars, one of which has a couple of spots of white paint on the lid. A pair of Roden sterling silver handle wood salad servers. These ornate 10-1/4" serving implements feature wooden spoon and fork inserts with sterling silver handles marked with the Roden mark along with REG'D 1901 STERLING. Birks took them over later but the 1901 registry mark indicates an Edwardian date for the manufacture of these servers. They are in very good condition with no cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a small chip off one tine of the fork. A World War II nurse's cloak or cape with black and red from the 1940s. This authentic military collectible has a 16" collar (hook to hook), it is 40-3/4" long and it has one closure with two button holes. It was made by Lac-Mac in London (Ontario) Canada and it has the original black painted hanging chain as well as SCGH embroidered on the back of the collar (possibly for St. Catharines General Hospital as it was obtained locally). It has a stitched M.L.M. monogram on the inside of the lapel over the pocket and this wool uniform is in very good condition with no rips, tears, losses, damage or repairs other than some paint loss to the hanging chain and some wear/rubs and a small repair to the inside of the collar. An antique 19th century hand painted porcelain cat figurine. This figure is probably Austrian or German and it is of heavy porcelain. It is very well painted and it measures 4-1/4" tall. It is unsigned and quite colourful with pink, black, green, orange, blue and gold. It is in reasonably good condition with no chips, losses, damage or repairs other than a tight hairline crack along the chest and a few small paint flakes on the back. A classic elegant sterling silver scalloped or Chippendale edge round serving tray by Birks. This sterling tray measures 14 inches across, it weighs 1,049 grams (approximately 33.67 troy ounces), and it comes with the original blue cloth Birks bag and box. It is stamped BIRKS STERLING 89/9 and it has the year stamp for 1972. The tray item is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs, and it has not been monogrammed nor engraved, nor used much, as possibly indicated by the rather clear view of the photographer's mid-section.... The cardboard Birks box has some scrapes, tape and writing on it.
