A Sadler 3 Pc. tea set in the 2761 F design of golden with white flowers circa 1950. This English ceramic set includes the 9" across the spout and handle lidded teapot, the 3-3/4" tall creamer and the lidded 6-1/2" across the handles large sugar bowl. Each piece has a swirled design with all over gold glaze with white floral highlights. Each piece has the impressed Sadler mark used from the 1930s to the 1950s. is stamped SADLER ENGLAND with a 2761 F pattern number in gold. This set shows minimal if any signs of use and unusually the gold is intact and unworn. This set is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than some expected fine overall crazing which shows only in the non-gold areas. Issued as a Canada-only variant on the Orient chintz pattern in 1953, this English Grimwades plate has the Winton mark as well as a gold stamped ORIENT CAN.RD. 1953 mark. A 14K white gold Siffari 5 diamonds row wedding band ring from the 1950s. This size 6 ring features a row of 5 small two point diamonds in a sculpted 3/4" long and 1/16" wide setting. The band has a pointed edge, the ring weighs 2.3 grams and it is stamped SIFFARI (in business in Toronto from 1941) with an obscured K mark which is at the least 14K (and possibly 18K). A signed Dafri copper ultramodern pin brooch and earrings set from the 1950s. This Toronto Canada company made some great looking items and this is one of them - a very Jetsons kind of anamorphic style. This set includes the 2" across pin with a safety clasp and an applied copper planchet identical to the 1-5/8 x 1" clip-on earrings. Each has some mild black patination and the pin has the DAFRY signature planchet. This set is in very good condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than the somewhat clumsily replacement of one earring's clip-on mechanism. A Birks 14k man's 3 diamonds row ring in yellow and white gold circa 1950s. The size is approximately size 14, or may be a little larger, as our ring mandrel (ring sizer bar) doesn't go any higher. This vintage gentleman's diamond band is stamped BIRKS (indistinct), it tests as 14k gold and it has an independent gemologist appraisal for $1000 CAD from 2008. The additional marks may have been lost a sizing, as sometimes happens. The diamonds include: one brilliant cut diamond .22 pt diamond of I-1 clarity and F-G colour, two single cut diamonds of SI-2 tand I-1 clarity, I-J colour 0.05 pt total. The ring weighs 4.8 grams. Please note that the large diamond has a very tiny chip, as noted in appraisal, so this factor is included in the independent evaluation. The 1950s modernist design would make this a an affordable choice for a men's wedding/engagement ring. An Antiko Hildesheimer Rose 800 silver dessert or cake set in a fitted case box from the 1940s or 1950s. This ornate and attractive set was made by Kohlbecker Silberwarenfabrik of Pforzheim, Germany (1946-). Some sources say the "ANTIKO" trade name was used from 1959. This ornate set consists of six 4-3/4" cake forks in 800 silver as well as a matching 8-1/8" silver plated pie or cake lifter marked ANTIKO 90. The brown snakeskin style paper wrapped box has a fitted yellow and brown silk like interior; the lifter doesn't quite fit the support and it may be a replacement. This lovely set would make a great gift or highlight for your next high tea and it is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than a bit of edge rubbing to the case.
