Most stones are a teardrop shape and the pale blue givre stones have a frosty lined appearance with a shimmer similar to moonstones. A fine vintage cutwork Roden sterling silver napkin ring. Roden was bought out by Birks in 1928. This 5/8" wide napkin ring measures 1-11/16" across the interior and it has a Janie monogram. It is stamped STERLING with the Roden company mark. Birks bought all Roden's inventory and parts and molds, and the Roden mark can be seen on some Birks silver items until several decades after. A Birks sterling silver sauce boat with under tray dated 1946. The sauce boat measures 5" from the edge of the spout to the outer edge of the curved handle and it stands 2-1/4" tall (excluding the handle) on it's four hoof style feet. The boat has the Birks date mark for 1942 while the 5-5/8 x 3-5/8" tray bears a 1946 date stamp. This classy serving piece weighs 128.4 grams and it is in excellent condition with no monograms, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than a few slight scratches and small, shallow dents on the boat rest part of the tray. There are a couple of short scratches on the bottom of the tray where someone tested it (maybe the stamped word "STERLING" had too many syllables for the tester to handle). A pair of Mappin & Webb sterling silver three light candleabra hallmarked Sheffield England 1931. These gorgeous Rococo style table lights stand 9" tall. They have their original detachable bobeches, and both have the Sheffield 1931 hallmarks. An Art Deco sterling silver chrysoprase and marcasites ring from the 1920s 1930 period. This size 5 ring is 3/4" across and it features a green genuine chrysoprase curved bevelled stone, surrounded by flashy marquisites in a square setting. The shoulders of the hoop have typical period engraved flower designs and this lovely ring weighs 4.2 grams.
