These matching 11-3/8" decanters have some hand cutting on the shoulder ribs and they retain their original blown and cut stoppers. A rare Clews Jasperware cream jug circa 1815-34. This pre-Victorian English 3-3/4" high milk jug is signed by Clews. Ralph and James Clews (Cobridge, Staffordshire) was in business only from 1815-34; pieces of Jasperware in imitation of Wedgwood were tricky to manufacture and as a result examples by Clews are quite scarce. This buff coloured example has applied bacchanalia scenes, with figures drinking wine and holding grapes. It has a grape-leaf border and a hand-formed spout. It has an incised CLEWS on the bottom, and it shows the typical firing cracks in the decoration typical of the era. A vintage Mt. Washington Quilted Diamonds huge rose bowl. This true vintage Victorian cased glass rose bowl is in attractive aqua blue and it dates around 1890. This 5-1/4" high and 6-1/4" across crimped edge posey vase is in the satin finish Quilted Diamonds pattern, produced by Mt. Washington glass. A genuine, vintage hand embroidered and beaded Pashtun tablecloth or tray cover cloth from the early part of the 20th century. These decorative embroidered and beaded textiles were made to show off the skills of young women in contemplation of marriage and this was brought back from Afghanistan in the 1960s. It is typically brilliantly coloured and it measures 33" x 27" (that measurement includes the beaded strands, which are approximately 1/1/2" in length).
