The band has a pointed edge, the ring weighs 2.3 grams and it is stamped SIFFARI (in business in Toronto from 1941) with an obscured K mark which is at the least 14K (and possibly 18K). It is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. It measures 3/8 x 5/16" across the setting, it weighs 2.4 grams and it is marked 10K with an A+A maker's mark. A signed Dafri copper ultramodern pin brooch and earrings set from the 1950s. This Toronto Canada company made some great looking items and this is one of them - a very Jetsons kind of anamorphic style. This set includes the 2" across pin with a safety clasp and an applied copper planchet identical to the 1-5/8 x 1" clip-on earrings. Each has some mild black patination and the pin has the DAFRY signature planchet. This set is in very good condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than the somewhat clumsily replacement of one earring's clip-on mechanism. This attractive and flashy size 5-1/2 ring is in 18k white gold, and the genuine modern brilliant cut diamonds include a 19 point SI-2 J-K center stone with 40 single cut diamonds (70 points total, VS-2 to I-1, G-H-I). It weighs 7.8 grams, it is stamped 18K with an obscured maker's mark, and it has a fairly recent conservative independent gemological appraisal in the amount of $4500 Canadian. A Birks 14k man's 3 diamonds row ring in yellow and white gold circa 1950s. The size is approximately size 14, or may be a little larger, as our ring mandrel (ring sizer bar) doesn't go any higher. This vintage gentleman's diamond band is stamped BIRKS (indistinct), it tests as 14k gold and it has an independent gemologist appraisal for $1000 CAD from 2008. The additional marks may have been lost a sizing, as sometimes happens. The diamonds include: one brilliant cut diamond .22 pt diamond of I-1 clarity and F-G colour, two single cut diamonds of SI-2 tand I-1 clarity, I-J colour 0.05 pt total. The ring weighs 4.8 grams. Please note that the large diamond has a very tiny chip, as noted in appraisal, so this factor is included in the independent evaluation. The 1950s modernist design would make this a an affordable choice for a men's wedding/engagement ring. An early Danecraft sterling silver lily parure set circa 1940. It consists of the 2-5/8" x 2" brooch pin with safety catch, the 16" long and 5/8" wide necklace with spring-ring catch, and the 7/8" x 5/8" pierced earrings. Each piece and link is in the form of a lily, and this set is signed with the Danecraft Sterling mark except for the earrings, which have been converted to pierced/posts (losing the marks on the screwbacks). The necklace is unfortunately laid out with the flowers facing inward - should face the other way.
