An ornate good quality silver plate 4 PC tea set and matching large tray. This set consists of the 5-3/4" (lip to handle) cream jug, the 8" handle to handle covered sugar bowl, the 9-1/8" high coffee pot with wood handle, and the 12" wood handle to spout teapot, together with the engraved 27-1/4" x 16" duck footed serving tray. The tea set has gadroon edges and the pieces are stamped SILVERPLATE ON COPPER SHEFFIELD REPRODUCTION with the International mark and the 1028 pattern number. The handles have hand-made floral decoration and the lifter end has roses, and would also work nicely for serving asparagus. A Moorcroft art pottery 5-7/8" vase in the Anemone pattern in the flambe line. This vase was produced 1947-53 period. This vintage example is stamped MOORCROFT MADE IN ENGLAND with Walter Moorcroft's monogram underglaze signature and cypher. Walter Moorcroft worked at Moorcroft from a young age, and took over after the death of William Moorcoft in 1945. Moorcroft pottery constantly explored different glazes even with their more popular patterns - the flambe is an interesting brown-orange colour. Pre 1960s Moorcroft still shows the fine quality hand painting with subtle shading in the leaves and flowers, and is understandably more popular with Moorcroft collectors. Flambe pieces are much less common than the blue or green background Moorcroft. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than some overall crazing. A Maling Peony 6504A large 10-7/8" centerpiece bowl from the 1930s. An attractive, well painted Japanese 10" x 6-3/4" lacquer over wood box c1900. This box has a richly painted scene of a bird, tree with flowers and leaves and a curved fence with mountains and a lake in the background. The thickly applied colours include textured black (tree), gold, orange and grey. This box has a black interior and the original lock (key missing) with a metal escutcheon plate; it appears to have been used as a cigar box in the past however, it could be used for many things. It is unsigned, and it is in very good condition with no losses, damage or repairs other than bruise showing wood on the lid's lower right corner, some minor lacquer losses at two of the edges and on the upper edge of the lid. Please note that the bright edge on the front of the box in the first picture is reflection of the gold decoration, which is intact. A JG Graves Sheffield sterling silver swing-out key pocket watch 1902. This English sterling silver key wind cased pocket watch is by JG Graves of Sheffield, England. Graves (1866-1945) was a watchmaker, entepreneur and benefactor, and this watch is hallmarked for Chester 1902, with the swing-out case having the Graves maker's mark. The watch is 2" across and the works measure 1-9/16" across the plate. They are inscribed J.G. GRAVES SHEFFIELD REVERSING PINION No688375. The single sunk dial has gold toned hands and it has THE "EXPRESS" ENGLISH LEVER in red and a black script G.S. GRAVES SHEFFIELD (indicating a late issue). It has an engine turned and engraved design on the back of the case and the back dust cover is unmarked. It is key wind and adjustment is by a nut at the pivot of the hands on the dial. This watch includes a later plastic base and dome cover, and it is in good condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs - the case, porcelain dial and works all appear intact, clean and undamaged however this watch doesn't run and the crystal has some minor abrasions. A Jazz Age Art Deco standing flatware box or chest from the 1930s. This unusual beauty has a silver and red paper Deco design over wood construction and it has a fitted interior. It measures 14-1/2" wide, 5" deep and it stands 11-3/4" tall when resting on its base. It has a silver plated clasp on the hinged lid which opens to reveal the plush-lined fitted interior which has a WM. A. ROGERS silk banner. Very few of these boxes were meant to stand upright, and this one looks great in your deco dining room. An India punchwork sterling silver salver wall plaque circa 1900. This ornate, vintage India Raj period 6-1/8" across footed salver is in high grade silver. This fine example is likely Kashmiri in origin. It features an unmonogrammed cartouche and highly detailed engraving and punchwork floreate decoration. A Herend Printemps hand painted oblong trinket or cigarette box with floral decoration and gold trim. This 6-3/4 x 3-1/2" box stands 1-1/2" tall and it is probably one of the many Printemps pieces which all have similar and slightly variant floral designs. It has the later Herend mark with a 7987 form number and a BT pattern code with a 1 or I below. It also has an impressed 7981 26 on the bottom. A Heisey Octagon 1229 black glass footed fruit bowl with coralene butterflies from the 1920s. This elegant glass footed bowl features lush gold trim and hand painted gold decoration along with fine blue, pink and white coralene butterflies and lily of the valley hand painted decoration. This fruit bowl or table centerpiece bowl measures 11 x 9" (including the handles) and it is an unmarked Heisey Octagon 1229 blank. We haven't seen another example of this decoration or of this black colour and it is possible that it was a special order or line made exclusively for a major retailer at the time (we have found no other examples of the blank in black glass). This rarity is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, damage or repairs other than a bit of minor wear on the heavily gold painted handles and a small drip inside the bowl from a liquid that left a 1/4" spot of fogging on the surface of the glass. A hand painted porcelain lamp - Noritake? This fine quality porcelain lamp has gilt metal mounts and it is in the Prattware style. It is most likely by Noritake - we were unable to disassemble it for examination to say definitely. It has 3 colour Greek mythology-style portrait medallions and a Greek key band at the neck all on a deep and vibrant orange ground; it measures 12-1/2" from the base to the top of the decorative upper metal collar (excluding the 15-1/4" shaft, socket, harp and finial). A Grenfell flying Canada geese 23" x 15" hooked mat wall hanging with label from the 1920s-30s. This fine and vintage beauty depicts two flying Canada geese over green and tan pine trees. It has the fine work typical of Grenfell with the expected mix of various fabrics. The colours include tan, brown, cream, black, grey and copper and it has the original Grenfell Labrador Industries red on white sewn label on the underside. It also has two sewn corners with metal eyelets for hanging on a wall which are probably original (and appear to be made of bra straps - Grenfell used whatever materials that were donated). A Girard Perregaux 14K white gold lady's diamond manual wind wristwatch. This elegant Art Deco vintage wrist watch measures 15/16" x 1/2", and it has a a fine braided black leather strap and a full wrist size chain link guard safety chain; the case is set with two large 3 mm. across bezel set diamonds on the top of the strap loop and bottom, with 26 round cut genuine diamonds around the bezel (approximately .65 carat total weight by gauge). The inside of the case is marked J MILHENNING INC. M 14K 145594; the works are marked GIRARD-PERREGAUX & Co. GXM SWISS UNADJUSTED 52 432917 SEVENTEEN JEWELS and it has gold gears. We believe it dates to the 1930s, but it may be slightly more recent. A German porcelain chicken figural schnapps or liquor decanter with glasses or cups and tray from the 1920s. This set is in orange, green and yellow luster and the cork-lined stopper shaped like feathers lifts off to reveal a filling hole. It is fully hand painted, the chicken is 8-1/2" long, the two-handled tray is 9-5/8" long and the schnapps shot glasses stand 1-5/8" high and fit on indented circles on the tray. This fine set includes six 4-3/8" coffee spoons in a velvet and silk lined fitted 6-5/8 x 5-3/4" box with gold stamping and brass fittings. The spoons are hallmarked for Birmingham, England 1927 and they have the maker's mark for Arthur Price & Co. (reg. 1926). Each spoon weighs 12.1 grams and the spoons appear unused however the box shows a bit of edge wear and rubbing which can be touched up with polish if desired. An Art Deco period silver plated 29" long flapper belt with an Egyptian motif circa 1920s. This vintage waist belt has five 1-1/8" chain-linked discs are set in a double chain belt. Strangely the front of the belt hook and eye buckle section on this elegant fashion accessory features a small fleur-de-lys. Finding the tomb of King Tutankhamen in the early 1920s started a fashion for anything in ancient Egyptian style.
