Purchased by the original owner in 1957 in Italy, this amazing bracelet has top notch hollow construction and the deep resonant gold colour expected of high quality 750 gold. This 7-1/2" bracelet has a box clasp, it weighs 18.1 grams and it is 3/4" wide. It is stamped with the 101VI maker's mark for Menegotto Polinto of Vicenza, Italy (1955-71). It is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. A Victorian 18K gentleman's chrysoprase signet seal ring, fully hallmarked for London, England 1860 1861. This antique size 5-1/2 or 5.5yellow gold ring has an inset green stone which measures 1/2" x 3/8" . The initials are carved en intaglio and are either PG or GP, and this Victorian ring has a CG&S maker's mark. It weighs 7.7 grams, and it is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than the expected patina from use and its age and some shallow surface scratches to the stone. A 18k white gold emerald and diamonds ring circa 1960s. Measuring 9/16" across the setting, this vintage size 7-1/4 or 7.25 abstract cluster ring features a 1.2 ct. oval genuine emerald (dark tone, bluish green, medium cut) with a 12 pt diamond and eight other diamonds (32 points total) all in VS-SI clarity and G-H colour. The emerald is visibly included, but is the most beautiful deep blue green colour. This ring weighs 3.8 grams and it has an independent gemological appraisal for $2000 (Canadian) from 2012. An 18k diamond solitaire ring circa 1900. This size 7-1/2 ring features a 50-52 point diamond by gauge. It is nice and clean looking with good colour and clarity however it has some very tiny chipping around the girdle and it is slightly off round in cut. It is stamped 18K Wm.A.C. and it has "ARTHUR AND DORIS(?)" engraved on the inside of the shank. This exceptional yellow gold and jadite bracelet features 6 carved floral jade stones claw-set on gold mounts interspersed with 18k yellow gold links resembling good luck symbols. An 18k birks bow brooch with diamonds from the 1950s. This retro brooch with three claw-set round brilliant cut genuine diamonds circa 1950s is well-made; it measures 2-1/8" x 1-1/4" pin is stamped 18 K and BIRKS. It has a safety catch, and it weighs 9.9 grams. The diamonds measure approximately 6 points in total - they are sparkling clear and white (VS, E-F colour). It is in excellent vintage condition with no breaks or cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs, and the claws are in excellent condition also. It had an independent gemological appraisal by a certified gemologistfor $2600 CAD. I would doubt a piece of comparable quality could be purchased at Birks even for the appraised value, even if on sale. An 1894 South Africa 1/2 Kruger Pond 22k gold coin mining brooch pin. This unusual pin was assembled as a souvenir of the South African gold mines and these coins were frequently brought back to the U.K. after the Boer war as souvenirs. This 2-1/8" example was constructed around the same time as the mintage of the coin which is in 22k gold (9 mm, 3.99 grams). It is mounted in a braided ring with finely wrought mine picks and shovel spades with gold nuggets - the setting tests as 10k gold. It has the original c-clasp and a safety chain and it weighs a total of 7.3 grams. Although soldered into the ring the coin remains in superb condition and this scarce historical souvenir of the gold trade in South Africa is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. This 2-3/4" tie or cravat stick pin has fine wirework decoration on the 9/16" top which features a bezel-set pinkish-red rhodolite garnet stone. A 15k sardonyx cameo Etruscan style watch or locket pin brooch from the 1860 era. This fine mid-Victorian 2-3/4 x 7/8" pin features a fine carved genuine sardonyx male warrior portrait mounted on an Etruscan style pin with ornate wirework. It is unsigned and it tests as a high 15k (a bit below 18k) and it also has a hook for the suspension of a watch or locket. It weighs 7.8 grams and it is in very good condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses or damage other than some gold soldered repairs, a small split and the replacement of the original c-clasp with a safety clasp end. There is some blush and tarnish as you would expect on a piece after a century and a half. A 15k rubies seed pearls shamrocks memento pin brooch from the 1875 era with green, yellow and rose gold. This splendid mid-Victorian 1-3/8" pin has an appealing hand etched floral design with genuine rubies and seed pearls as leaves and flowers. It also features a border with raised flowers alternating with raised and textured shamrocks which have leaves which are split with one side green gold and the other side of each leaf rose gold. On the back it has a compartment with a beveled glass window and retaining bezel which would have probably held a lock or braid of hair but now holds a trimmed tintype portrait of a man. It has a loop for wear as a pendant, it has the original c-clasp and it weighs 11.0 grams (intact). It is typically unmarked and it tests as 15k gold. The hair compartment is quite deep and it would easily hold a gold coin or other memento or even another portrait. A wonderful survivor and an example of the fine quality Victorian jewellers were able to accomplish. It is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor damage to the cut tintype portrait. There is a slight patina from use which is quite exaggerated in our pictures. We gave this pin a simple surface cleaning only, preferring to leave the 150 years of patina intact. This size 7-1/2 ring measures 1/2" x 7/16" across the top which has oval-shaped natural half pearls and a combination of cabachon and cushion-cut and mine-cut almandine garnets. This ring tests as 15k gold, and it has been re-hooped, resulting in the loss of any original hallmarks (if ever present).
