An Aesthetic sterling & 2 colour gold photo locket dated 1884. This beautiful vintage Victorian 1-3/16 x 15/16" photo locket is fully hallmarked for Birmingham England 1884. This locket has deep hand egraving and tooling on the front, with rose gold bars and a flower and a green gold leaf. The back has a repeat of the fancy border and the hallmarks, with an H&B maker's mark. An elegant Edwardian period baisse-taille white enamel and sterling silver brooch with fine engine turning and gold inlay, circa 1910. This antique 2" across pin was made by Blackinton of North Attleboro, Massachusetts (1862-1967), It was constructed from French baisse-taille enamel on sterling mounted with a pin assembly with a safety catch. The bright gold flowers and wreath inlaid on the brooch set it off beautifully against the engine-turned design under the enamel. It has a pattern number 9707, and it has some solder where the company attached the pin to the enamel gilt-silver disc. The entire back is satin finish and gilt - the solder is original to the manufacture of the brooch, and is not a repair (enamel has to be heated with extreme care after manufacture). It is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, scrapes, dents, monograms, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. A Mexican sterling silver necklace and bracelet set by Artemio Navarrette. He was a master silversmith who worked for William Spratling, later producing jewelry under his own name. This 2 pc. set consists of the 7" length bracelet and the matching 15-1/4" length necklace. Each has a hook and eye clasp, they are made out of domed cutout 11/16" across segments. Both bracelet and necklace are stamped STERLING 925 and HECHO EN MEXICO TAXCO with what looks like a a joined AV maker's mark - it is actually an N with the first part made into an A.
