It is size 6-1/2 or 6.5. It is unmarked (14k gold guaranteed, has been tested), and has a claw set 23 point genuine brilliant cut diamond (measured by gauge). The colour is a top quality excellent F colour, and the stone is I-1 clarity, as there is a tiny chip located on the underside of the diamond near one claw. The elegant custom made design of the ring has a graceful flow on the textured sides. This vintage gentleman's diamond band is stamped BIRKS (indistinct), it tests as 14k gold and it has an independent gemologist appraisal for $1000 CAD from 2008. The additional marks may have been lost a sizing, as sometimes happens. The diamonds include: one brilliant cut diamond .22 pt diamond of I-1 clarity and F-G colour, two single cut diamonds of SI-2 tand I-1 clarity, I-J colour 0.05 pt total. The ring weighs 4.8 grams. Please note that the large diamond has a very tiny chip, as noted in appraisal, so this factor is included in the independent evaluation.
