It is marked 14K with a KCJ makers mark. It is also marked 585 which is another designation for 14k. It weighs 4.6 grams. It features two arcs of five single point diamonds at each side of the amethyst. This lovely purple February birthstone has had the romantic reputation since ancient times of retaining the passion of love and repelling jealousy, and in ancient times was given as an engagement or wedding ring. The love aspect here is further hinted at with the filigree sides which have a heart set with another diamond on each side of the setting. This size 7-1/2 ring measures 1/2" x 7/16" across the top which has oval-shaped natural half pearls and a combination of cabachon and cushion-cut and mine-cut almandine garnets. This ring tests as 15k gold, and it has been re-hooped, resulting in the loss of any original hallmarks (if ever present). This ring features a claw-set oval faceted 12 carat (calculated) synthetic alexandrite with lush purple and intense blue colour. These simulated alexandrites are usually corundum laced with vanadium to produce the color change under different types of lighting, or a treated colourless chrysoberyl. This created gemstone has been around for almost 100 years, and the stones usually test as corundums or sapphires on a gem tester (natural genuine alexandrites of this colour are expensive and uncommon, and most of what you will see for sale is the paler or simulated version). A 14K Art Deco Eatons citrene pendant from the 1920s. This vintage white gold 13/16" x 5/8" citrine has a classic geometric design - the bale loop is not included in the measurement. The stone is a rectangular faceted cut, and is a golden yellow colour. The pendant is stamped 14K with a retailer mark for Eaton's of Canada, who are no longer in business.
