An impressive Regency period 15k gold long necklace with ornate slide c1830-40. This superb example measures 62" long, it has a large well-made slide with black enamel, and it is constructed of double pulley-style interlinked gold loops. The 1" across and 1/4" thick slide has an engraved L. Gordon inscription on one side; it is unmarked and unsigned but tests as 15k gold. The slide has holes where a scarab or possibly a cameo was mounted (and another piece of your choice could be mounted on it), and it weighs an impressive 59.0 grams (almost 2 ounces!). A Regency period rolled gold plate mourning locket with enamel c1835. This 1-5/16" locket features an engine turned design on each side, a watch-style bale for hanging from a chain, pin or chatelaine, and it has a removable central compartment for hair or a memento. The front is hinged and swings out to reveal the contents, which are under bevelled glass (a curl of brown hair and woven black fabric). It has a hand-engraved dedication saying: "IN MEMORY OF Margaret Maclachlin Jane Magregor Died 1839. Dugalt Maclachlin Died 21st April 1849." A lovely lady's Ryrie (later Birks) hanging watch in 9k rose gold c1910. This 1-1/8" diameter watch features a single sunk seconds dial, blued hands and black Roman numerals and a large hinged rectangular loop for hanging. The face is marked RYRIE, and the case is stamped with London, England import gold marks with a 109926 serial number. The 15/16" (24 mm.) diameter works are stamped 3326279 RYRIE VERNON 15 JEWELS; Vernon was Ryrie's quality gold watch line and they used Waltham works according to archive catalogues. This watch is suspended from a 10k yellow gold pin featuring the three loop Rebekah lodge symbol. The pin has a safety catch, and this pin and watch measures 2-1/4 x 1-1/4" in total. A set of 3 sterling silver ducks scatter pins from the 1930s-40s. This charming vintage set of three handmade gilt sterling silver duck scatter or sweater pins have safety catches and they measure from 1-1/2" across to 1-1/4" x 1-1/8" across. A vintage sterling silver traditional cross on a 20" later sterling silver rope chain with a lobster claw clasp. The cross measures 2-1/4" x 1-5/8", and is stamped and tests as .925/sterling silver. The chain is stamped 925 and Italy. This necklace weighs a substantial 22.9 grams and it is in excellent vintage condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. A scarce form, and we've only seen a few of these lockets. This is an Edwardian sterling silver 1-1/2 x 1-1/8" photo locket pendant with hinged photo "pages" which hold two photographs each. It is stamped STERLING, it has an engine turned design on the interior and it has fine hand engraving on the front. The shield has never been monogrammed and the plain back is unadorned. It weighs 18.8 grams, it has both photo retaining bezels and one celluloid or thin plastic window (you'll need to cut another one), and it is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, monograms, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than the missing window and a repair to one spring wire on the clasp (it needed resoldering). This beauty features a silver plated 2-3/8" x 7/8" two-panel pendant featuring a green curved molded glass insert on an angular patterned silver plated panel.
