A scarce form, and we've only seen a few of these lockets. This is an Edwardian sterling silver 1-1/2 x 1-1/8" photo locket pendant with hinged photo "pages" which hold two photographs each. It is stamped STERLING, it has an engine turned design on the interior and it has fine hand engraving on the front. The shield has never been monogrammed and the plain back is unadorned.
