This is an assortment of pieces in the Clovis ironstone dinnerware pattern, made by Bates Walker & Co. in the 1870s. These English tableware items have an unusual colourway, with turquoise, red and a luster border. Some pieces are stamped CLOVIS 9030 and most have year stamps indicating a manufacturing date in the early 1870s. All items are currently in stock unless marked SOLD. These items are in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs unless noted; most pieces have very fine, barely noticeable overall crazing. A scarce early American pressed or pattern glass 8-3/8" tall covered footed sugar bowl in the Daisy and Button with Thumbprint Panel pattern, issued by Adams and U.S. Glass of Pittsburgh c1890. This is the collectable Vaseline colour, and this item is in very good original condition with no cracks, losses, major damage or repairs other than some minor chipping to the finial and column ends and edges on the lid and on one column and inside rim of the base (all chips minor). An Ironstone tea or tobacco leaf teapot and 8 petit four plates 1860s. A matching English ironstone 8-3/8" tall teapot and eight 4-5/8" petit four plates, all with a tea or tobacco leaf variant in gold with gold trim. The teapot has some relief design on the feet and near the top, and the petit four plates have twelve sides. These items date to the 1860s, and they are in excellent condition with no cracks, losses, repairs or damage other than some overall crazing to the teapot and 3 plates, one plate with a chip to the bottom rim, one with a factory overglazed rim chip, and two with minor staining and crazing. A decorated 19thC copper lustre child's cann or mug. This vintage mid-19th century 2-1/2" high decorated copper luster mug features a relief beaded rim, lovely metallic copper luster, a blue band with leaf decoration and a white interior with a pink lustre interior rim. It is unmarked and it has a pink lustre brush wipe on the interior, and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than an overglazed flat spot on the bottom rim and some craze lines on the interior bottom only. the luster is a consistent deep rich copper colour from top to bottom, unlike in our photos which show reflection from the towel. A Staffordshire farm girl pottery figure circa 1860. This vintage English pottery figure is of a farm girl holding a sheaf of wheat. This handpainted and unmarked figurine stands 8-1/2" high, and she has decoration on the front and on the back. This item is in very good condition with no cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor chipping to the bocage at the base, some minor flakes to the paint at the base, some fine and occasional craze lines, and two losses to her hat. Majolica grape and vine pitcher with a pewter lid with a leaf motif, most likely for serving wine outdoors circa 1880s. It is 8-1/2" tall and hand painted in brown, blue and green colors. It is unmarked except for what looks like a 70 painted onto the bottom. Majolica is an antique form of pottery, with a great revival of interest in the 19thC. This item is in excellent condition for its age and use, with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some overall crazing and two burst glaze bubbles (one on the handle and one on the side) as well as the expected manufacturing artifacts seen on vintage majolica. A scarce covered jar in the early American pressed or pattern glass Festoon pattern, issued by Beatty Brady Glass Co. (Indiana 1898). This 7-1/2" jar (including lid) has a crisp and attractive pattern with much raised detail; it is in very good condition with no losses, damage or repairs other than some minor upper edge chipping where the lid sits on the upper rim and one 5/8" internal impact crack on the bottom rim (intact with no loss). A Barbour Silver Co. silver plated tilt kettle, stand and associated burner from the 1890s. It has a simple, elegant design and it stands 13" tall from the top of the ebony wood handle to the bottom of the stand's ball feet. The base is unsigned, the kettle is stamped BARBOUR SILVER CO. NICKEL SILVER 4002 (operating from 1892-98) and the associated burner has the Meriden stamp. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends or corrosion, however the handle supports have been resoldered to the kettle, the kettle and stand appear to have been replated and the flame smothering cap on the burner has broken off and is lost (but it can be repaired or the burner can be replaced with a similarly sized one). The kettle has an ASA (or ALS) monogram on the shoulder. A nice formal and usable accessory for your table or dinner party. A Webster sterling silver swing handle candy or bonbon basket from 1900. This Queen Anne style basket has an openwork handle, a gadrooned design and a script GDH monogram in the interior. It measures 6-1/4 x 4-3/8" and it stands 1-1/2" high without the 4" high handle. It is stamped with STERLING and the Webster silver mark and it weighs 66.1 grams. A Chinese free form cloisonne enamel on brass smoking set circa 1900. This set consists of the cigarette box, the matchbox holder and the ashtray c1900-20. This pretty set has thickly applied enamel depicting birds and trees, and it consists of the 3-3/8" diameter ashtray, the 3-3/4" x 3-1/8" hinge-lid cigarette box with internal white enamel, and the 2-3/8" x 1-5/8" matchbox holder with vintage matchbox and contents. A Lanternier Limoges hand painted floral vase from around 1900. This subtle and beautiful Limoges French porcelain hand painted vase c1890-1900 vase stands 9-1/4" high and it has a finely painted floral arrangement in subtle pastel shades with gold highlights - the leafy sprigs with purple flowers have subtle green lines and the complex yellow and richly gilded large flowers and leaves have great detail and piped and jewelled thick gold outlines. There are also sprays of gold on the cloudlike satin finish of this decorative piece. It was made by the Lanternier & Co firm, and it is a factory painted piece. An Edwardian carved mother of pearl silver plated bread fork from the 1900-1910 era. This ornate and out of the ordinary example of Victorian and Edwardian table serving pieces measures 8-5/8" long and it has the shape and three tines found on bread serving forks of this period (however it can be used for whatever purpose you wish). It has fancy high relief finials with acanthus leaves and flowers, a stepped finial and fancy modelling of the silver plate links. It is set apart by the hand carved mother-of-pearl handle which has been carved in the form of a tree trunk with bumps from branches.
