A WWI sterling silver drafting pencil from 1918. This World War I vintage 3-3/8" x 1/2" sterling pencil has a red-painted flat drafting pencil included. The case is fully hallmarked for Sheffield England 1918, it weighs 9.0 grams and it is engraved A. OSBORNE. CANADIAN ENG 21st MAR 1916 22nd OCT. 1918. It was made by S. Mordan & Co. and the pencil is marked HB *ROYAL SOVEREIGN E WOLFF & SON BRITISH MAKE. This item is in very good original condition with no bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor denting on the lid and on the inscription side. All condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and have signs of use as expected. A large and elegant European silver goblet of modern design by Wilhelm Binder of Schwabisch Gmund (Germany), established in 1869. This goblet apparently dates c1900-10. It measures 8-3/4" (24cm) in height, and measures 4-1/4" (just under 11 cm) across the rim. It weighs approximately 227 grams. It is stamped with the German post-1886 crescent moon and crown mark, 835 WTB and has a company number of 73123 and a small punch mark we could not make out. It has not been monogrammed or inscribed, and it is in excellent condition, with no dents, breaks, corrosion, repairs or damage. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use.
