An impressive Regency period 15k gold long necklace with ornate slide c1830-40. This superb example measures 62" long, it has a large well-made slide with black enamel, and it is constructed of double pulley-style interlinked gold loops. The 1" across and 1/4" thick slide has an engraved L. Gordon inscription on one side; it is unmarked and unsigned but tests as 15k gold. The slide has holes where a scarab or possibly a cameo was mounted (and another piece of your choice could be mounted on it), and it weighs an impressive 59.0 grams (almost 2 ounces!). This item is in otherwise fine condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than the absent slide decoration and open end. A 9k gold double scarab beetle brooch circa 1870-90. This scarce mid-Victorian 9k yellow gold bar pin has two claw-set real green scarab beetles. Anything Egyptian was all the rage at this time, and this 2-1/4" x 5/8" brooch is typical. The beetles are real, they are a chrysomelid, also known as a tortoise beetle. This pin has the original 19thC safety pin-style catch, it is stamped 9Ct and it weighs 3.7 grams; it has a loop for a safety chain and it is in excellent original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than some minor losses to the head of one beetle. A pair of German 800 silver viande serving forks in the original box. This elegant and high quality pair of 800 silver German 8" viande or meat serving forks are in their original fitted box and they date to the 1900 1910 era. These forks are stamped 800 with the crown and eagle mark (Frankfurt, pre-1888), most likely produced by Bruckmann and Sohne (1805-1973). The forks are an interesting combiation of elegant Neoclassic revival design paired with the elements of Jugendstil - note the graceful and simple fork shape and crisp design to the ends of the handle. The 9" x 3-1/2" box is a tan coloured watered silk with a Greek key border and bronze coloured fittings with a patterned silk interior lid and cotton fitted platform with twisted cord trim. The forks weigh a substantial 83 grams, and they have traces of the original gilding. Lovely quality silver. An attractive Victorian period china jardiniere, c1880s. It has a repeating somewhat Art Nouveau floral motif, the flowers look a bit like poppies or anemones, all in blue transferware with occasional splashes of gold. It measures 5-3/4" in height and the opening measures just over 5" across (opening only, does not include the wavy rim). Although it is unmarked, which happened more frequently before 1891, it is almost certainly English in origin. Except for some minor wear in a few spots to the gilding, it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, staining, losses, damage or repairs. A Sevres style hand painted portrait plate from the 19thC signed Amblet. This late 19thC cabinet or display plate is 9-5/8" across and it features fine gilding, a scalloped edge with high relief gilt vines with a pink ground and a beautiful signed free hand painted central portrait of a pretty young woman picking flowers. The plate has the genuine three part Sevres marks, which include the Louis Philippe 1844 mark (this mark actually dates to the late 19th century), the Chateau de Tuileries wreath and the S. 37 in lozenge year date. The portrait is signed F. An Aesthetic sterling & 2 colour gold photo locket dated 1884. This beautiful vintage Victorian 1-3/16 x 15/16" photo locket is fully hallmarked for Birmingham England 1884. A Victorian jet bracelet with carving circa 1870-80. This genuine (tested) jet carved bracelet is in the Aesthetic style. It has elastic cord threading (re-strung)and it has a staggered orientation of the band's panels (possibly strung differently originally). The 1" across top panel and two flanking panels both have decorative carving, the rest are plain polished. This item is in fair vintage condition with the following issues: chipping to the thread mounting holes on the back of the center panel, some small edge chips to the bottom corners of the side panels, some tiny edge flakes and chips on the front edges of the side panels and one one other panel and a cracked side panel (the crack is tight and is held together by the elastic, and it can be glued if you wish). A Victorian period 1 x 1" (not including loop) 14k yellow gold man's watch fob with a seal-style monogram insert.
