A 14K blue topaz and amethyst hoop design pair of earrings circa 1970s. These vintage yellow gold pierced hoops are set with genuine blue topaz and amethyst gem stones. Each vintage double hoop earring measures 1-1/2" diameter and 1/8" thick. They weigh 8.1 grams. They are stamped 14K on the ear wire (too small to photograph). February birthstone is amethyst and march is aquamarine,so this color combination works for both birthstone months. Great dramatic earrings. A 1970s pewter and glass necklace by Jergen Jensen of Denmark. The 1-7/8" x 1-1/8" pendant is on the 21-1/4" long original chain with a spring-ring catch. This vintage size 6 ring 3 color gold ring features leaves and berries in green gold facing the same in pink gold on the 1" x 1/2" top. The band is yellow gold. G. Blair Laing Memories Of An Art Dealer 2 vol. set. This complete and mint two volume set is in its original slipcovers and it was published by McClelland and Stewart, Toronto 1982. Each volume measures 10-3/4 x 7-3/4" in their limited clothbound slip cases. Volume 1 has 65 tipped-in colour plates and 264 pages; it is near mint inside and out with only the faintest traces of rubbing on the edges of the book and case and not enough to drop it from a solid MINT rating. Volume 2 has 77 plates and 213 pages and it is near mint with very slight rubs and some minor dents on the back of the slipcase. A superb and scarce set in superb condition. This set is in excellent condition as described above. A pair of Lucknow solid silver sweetmeat or bonbon bowls from the Indian Raj period circa 1880 1890. These superbly detailed antique high grade silver 4-7/8" x 4" bowls have a graceful fluted rim. They feature gilt interiors and fine hammered wildlife scenes around the exterior depicting panthers, elephants, birds, dogs, rabbits and others, all with a backdrop of palm trees and tropical foliage. The design is a classic Lucknow silver design of this period, and interior gilding was seen more commonly then also. They have a large hand-tooled peacock figure on the bottom of each bowl, (which is most likely the silversmith's mark), and they test as very high grade silver. These bowls weigh 174 grams in total, and they are in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a tiny notch on the upper edge of one bowl from the testing of the silver content.
