A Victorian gold filled seed pearls photo locket with a long watch chain necklace from the 1890s. This attractive oval 1-5/8 x 3/4" (including bale) locket retains the two photo retaining bezels and it has two instant relatives included. The back is undecorated and the front has a lovely X-style design with graduated seed pearls. It has a satin finish and it comes with a slightly later J.Co. 1906 15 YRS gold filled chain with a swivel. "15 YRS." refers to the guarantee on the chain's gold plating to last for 15 years under normal use (similar to that used on watch cases). The chain itself measures 48-1/2" long (sans swivel) and it can be worn doubled as shown or full length (it will hang 24-1/4" long). An Avon 10k yellow gold Highest Honor brooch pin with a 9 year service award pin from the 1960s. This attractive 9/16" brooch features the thick applied letter A which is set with seed pearls; it is mounted on a black onyx center in a gold embossed rim with AVON HIGHEST HONOR. A 15k yellow gold early Victorian rhodolite garnet stickpin from the 1850s. This 2-3/4" tie or cravat stick pin has fine wirework decoration on the 9/16" top which features a bezel-set pinkish-red rhodolite garnet stone. It is unsigned and tests as 15k gold, it comes with a bulldog and it weighs 1.7 grams (sans bulldog). It is in very good condition with no cracks, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than some denting on the back and a miniscule edge chip and a tiny surface flake to one facet (barely noticeable). A 17th century Wenceslas Hollar "Trinitarianus" hand coloured engraving in frame. This finely detailed etching has a sight size of 10-3/8 x 6" with a plate size of 10-1/8 x 5-5/8". It is marked "Trinitarianus 831 W. Hollar fecit" and it is plate 831. It is on laid fibrous paper and it was from the series/portfolio "The Antiquities of Warwickshire Illustrated" printed in London, England 1656 (Hollar (1607-1677) was from Prague, Bohemia. It could be from the second state used in Dugdale's Monastic Anglicanum in 1661 or the third state in 1673. We have seen this engraving in monotone and the colour could well have been applied later (which was commonly done). The black wood frame measures 14-3/4 x 9-3/4" and this print is in excellent condition with only light tanning and mellowing and a couple of minor spots of foxing. There are a few minor rubs to the black on the old frame. A fine, high quality pair of vintage Iroquois child's beaded moccasins c1900-20. Measuring 4-1/2" x 2-3/4" across the deerskin soles, they are constructed with deerhide, velour and cotton; the beading is metallic clear, turquoise, red, white and deep blue. This pair is in excellent original condition with no rips, tears, major fading, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor fraying to the lace ends, some minor creasing/crushing easily remedied and some minor fading and edge fraying to the tops. A gray transfer covered sauce dish. This early unsigned English covered footed sauce dish dates to circa 1830-50. It has classical scenes and an oak leaf border as well as sculpted handles and feet, all with gray or grey transfer decoration. It is marked only with an impressed P underneath. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than some fine overall crazing, three tiny glaze flakes on the lid's rim (two at the opening for the ladle) and a pinpoint burst glaze bubble or small chip on the lid rim (see pic). A finely detailed 11-3/4" tall silverplated epergne stand or base c1880s. This stand features a semi-nude woman stganding on a footed base holding the dish aloft; it is stamped MONARCH SILVER CO. 592 on the bottom. The bottom of the bowl support has a satin finish, and it measures 3-5/8" across the interior, with a 9/16" deep collar for supporting the bowl. This item is in very good condition with no corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor losses to the original plating, a break where her foot was soldered to the base (see picture) and some denting under her other foot. This adjustable necklace ranges from 13-3/4" to 16" and it is 5/8" across; the closed-back rhinestones are brilliant and sparkle wonderfully, with the purple stones being particularly intense. A striking vintage Mexican sterling pendant set with a mixture of inlaid lapis and malachite, with a large cabochon cut tiger eye gem in the centre c1950-60. Two of the dangling pendants are also inlaid with lapis and malachite, and the centre dangle is solid silver. The pendant alone measures 3-3/4" x 2-1/8", and weighs 26.2 grams. It is stamped STERLING 925 with the eagle mark with a 2 in the centre, and the initials MR. There was a silversmith named Melecio Rodriguez who worked at the Rancho Alegre and for Margot de Taxco, but I can't verify if this is his work or not. It comes with a 18-1/2" sterling heavy link chain (weighs 16.7 grams, not Mexican manufacture). It is in very good condition, but please note than there is 1/8" piece missing from the second inlaid drop of the pendant. Otherwise it is in lovely condition, no breaks, wear, repairs or damage. An antique Chinese lady motif tea chest tin with hasp. This domed trunk style tea chest is 8-7/8" wide and it stands 6" tall. It features a blue and yellow lithographed design and the swing-up brass handle has Victorian style decoration. It also has a brass hasp and eye for a lock and it has a circled DB or BD maker's mark which we haven't identified. By the construction and style we'd say it's late Victorian but it could be slightly later - it is in very good condition with some minor surface corrosion spots, a few minor scrapes and a dent on the bottom along with the expected wear. A rare Fostoria Manor 2443 etch 286 green elegant glass bowl circa 1930s. This Art Deco period 12" x 5-1/2" oval centrepiece bowl in the Manor pattern etch 286 was only produced by the Fostoria Glass Company in the green color from 1931-1935. It was produced in clear from 1931-1944. This piece (catalog number 2443) is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs.
