An authentic 1920s slag glass scenic chandelier ceiling lamp. This hexagonal 16" across and 12" deep beauty features caramel swirl slag glass panels, an upper gallery of blue, purple and caramel slag panels and a lower skirt of blue, purple and deep yellow panels resembling cloudy sky under cutout scenic gold patinated and lacquered brass framework structure of a house with trees. It is unsigned, it has the original gilded brass canopy and it has been resocketed and rewired. We've shown it lit with a 25 watt candle bulb but a higher wattage will look quite impressive. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks to the glass, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than some minor splits and gaps on the crude original welding of the panels not affecting the stability of the lamp. ****This item is available for pick up only - there has been a large increase in damage during shipping lately and insurance will not cover anything antique or breakable. **** All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use.
