A 10K natural opal stickpin or tie pin circa 1900. This Edwardian yellow gold stick pin features a claw-set 0.60 carat natural opal with nice green flash and inner orange fire. This 2-7/8" long stick pin weighs 1.5 grams without the bulldog and the opal measures 1/4" across. It is stamped with 10 K gold marks and it comes in a purple plush case which may be original. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs, and the case has some minor wear and soiling; the stone has surface roughness Opals can be re-polished but we don't offer that service. All condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have signs of use as would be expected.
