An enamel cigarette case with mottled amber and taupe decoration from the 1930s. This Art Deco vintage 3-3/4" x 3-1/8" smoking accessory features deep and medium brown mottled enamel and the fittings are gold plated. It has the original spring loaded retaining straps and engine turned design in the interior and it is stamped PAT. PEND. with a B Co. in a large B maker's mark. It is in very good condition with no bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a dent on one side and a minor patina from use. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use as would be expected. Silver and silver plated items are hand-polished, not buffed, and our halogens and magnified images may exaggerate otherwise barely noticeable scratches and flaws.
