A Victorian 3 strand alpaca man's pocket watch chain with an engraved slide from the 1880-1890 era. This 12-1/4" man's accessory has a t-bar and a swivel and the decorative and fancy slide and ends all have hand engraving. The slide has a loop for a fob and a Gothic GB monogram; this chain is made of alpaca (an imitation silver) and it is also known as silveroid, German silver and other names (there is no silver content). It is unsigned, the swivel is brass coloured and it is in very good antique condition with no corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor bending to the middle of the engraved fittings. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use. Tracked Packet shipping to anywhere in the U.S. is $13.50 - this includes online tracking, air service and insurance up to $70.
