A beautiful Art Deco period 18k white gold filigree and genuine diamonds lady's ring circa 1920. This lacy basketweave size 5-3/4 or 575 ring has three diamonds, including a 20 point antique brilliant cut diamond and two ~5 point brilliant cut diamonds (all VS clarity, G-H colour). This more ornate design of ring was a hold-over from the Edwardian era. The ring weighs 2.1 grams and it is in mostly excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some noticeable thinning of the bottom of the hoop from wear against another ring. It is stamped 18K with an obscured maker's mark. The surface of the diamond is a little smudgy from a finger - it is a lovely clear bright stone in real life. A bit of ornate style from a bygone era. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use as would be expected. Silver and silver plated items are hand-polished, not buffed, and our halogens and magnified images may exaggerate otherwise barely noticeable scratches and flaws.
