An Art Deco coral celluloid & brass flapper necklace from the 1920s. This original genuine 30-1/2" necklace features a further 4-1/4" central drop with a large 2" x 7/8" celluloid drop. The coral coloured tube beads are linked by brass chains and each celluloid link has brass caps. This unsigned necklace is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some deformation of the second lowest celluloid link in the drop (partly covered by the brass cap) and some partial whitening of 6 of the cylinder shaped beads which sat on the nape of the neck (probably from makeup or perfume, some of which will rub off). All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use.
