A sterling silver modern design Consul (Switzerland) ladies wrist watch circa 1970. The brushed face has a gradient colour, from chocolate to golden amber. All Items : Estate Jewelry : Costume : Unsigned : Pre 1920 item #705162 (stock #5524)
A scarce World War I era 60" patinated metal and purple cut glass fan or watch chain circa 1915. Unsigned but possibly English, it was common for jewelry at this time to be blackened or patinated so as to avoid flashing and glinting, which could have been seen by the enemy fliers at night. World War I planes were smaller and flew lower, so moonlight reflecting on jewelry allowed people to be seen. The patination made it possible to wear jewelry that was not visible at night, so this style of jewelry became popular until 1918. This watchchain necklace has a large spring-ring catch and swivel, and the chain has oblong loops. This item is in mostly excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor abrasions to the back edges of the unfoiled amethyst glass stones. Condition issues are noted; all items have signs of use. Expedited parcel to the U.S. starts at $18.50 (tracking/insurance included). Items paid with a credit card will be sent to confirmed addresses only. We do ship internationally. All of our prices are in $US. PLease note: We do not accept Paypal.

An early Art Deco 14k white and yellow gold watch chain with slip knot shape long links circa 1920. This vintage 15-1/4" long watchchain is unusual, each link has a slip-knot in the center. The chain is stamped 585 (14K) on the loop near the swivel. The swivel is a moveable one, with s what appears to be an anchor. (tested for gold content, as it is otherwise unmarked). The watchchain weighs approximately 12.7 grams; it can be worn as a necklace or doubled for a bracelet, and it is in excellent vintage condition with no breaks, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs with the likely exception of the likely replacement of the spring-ring.
