A retro Halbe rhinestone floral spray brooch with gold plating circa 1960. Halbe was an American firm, located at 411-5th Ave. New York circa 1950-1963 (thank you to Illusion Jewels for the information and a great research site). This 2-3/8" x 1-1/8" elegant brooch has baguette and round rhinestones; the pin is rhodium plated on back but the centers of the flowers, stems and bottom of spray are gold plated on the front. An Aesthetic sterling & 2 colour gold photo locket dated 1884. This beautiful vintage Victorian 1-3/16 x 15/16" photo locket is fully hallmarked for Birmingham England 1884. This locket has deep hand egraving and tooling on the front, with rose gold bars and a flower and a green gold leaf. The back has a repeat of the fancy border and the hallmarks, with an H&B maker's mark. An Edwardian 15k Mother of Pearl 6 button set in original box circa 1900 1910. The antique mother-of-pearl shirt or vest buttons with 15k yellow gold criss-cross centers and loops (unmarked but tested) comes in the original presentation box/case. This set consists of the 5-1/4" x 1-3/8" dark brown leather-covered box with gold trim, containing six 9/16" across gold and mother-of-pearl buttons plus six gold plate over brass spiral button attachment loops. The box is fitted with a royal purple velvet platform and silk lined top. It is stamped BROOK & SON GOLDSMITHS TO THE KING 87 GEORGE STREET EDINBURGH on the silk. A beautiful late Edwardian period vintage rhodium plated sautoir with facetted amethyst crystals c1915-20. The central drop is 3/4" wide and 3" long, and the loop chain is 15-1/4" (including the replacement sterling silver springring catch). This beauty is unsigned, and the bezel-set stones are in excellent condition (one has an internal air bubble). Please note that the yellow in our pictures is a lighting effect, and brass is only visible on the back edge of the central stone of the drop. A Norway sterling silver and blue enamel brooch circa 1960s by Einar Modahl of Oslo. This attractive vintage modern 2-1/8" x 1-5/8" pin is a lovely royal hue. This Norwegian abstract double leaf is marked 925 S with the Einar Modahl maker's mark and an N in a square and STERLING NORWAY. The light colour or mauvish spots are artifacts of the photography and light reflections, the enamel is smooth and even with no damage. It has a modified catch which is now a c-clasp (no locking wheel), and it weighs 11.2 grams. A jeweler could add a locking wheel back to clasp. This unusual necklace features faceted crystal round beads (5/16" and 5/8"), multicolour striped crystal 3/4" rods, black glass spacers and black round beads (7/16" and 3/4"). Also included are black double-cone beads with white applied edges and hand-blown green glass roses. A 9k gold double scarab beetle brooch circa 1870-90. This scarce mid-Victorian 9k yellow gold bar pin has two claw-set real green scarab beetles. Anything Egyptian was all the rage at this time, and this 2-1/4" x 5/8" brooch is typical. The beetles are real, they are a chrysomelid, also known as a tortoise beetle. An impressive Regency period 15k gold long necklace with ornate slide c1830-40. This superb example measures 62" long, it has a large well-made slide with black enamel, and it is constructed of double pulley-style interlinked gold loops. The 1" across and 1/4" thick slide has an engraved L. Gordon inscription on one side; it is unmarked and unsigned but tests as 15k gold. The slide has holes where a scarab or possibly a cameo was mounted (and another piece of your choice could be mounted on it), and it weighs an impressive 59.0 grams (almost 2 ounces!).
