An Art Deco French jet and orange cut glass beaded flapper sautoir necklace with a tassel from the 1920s. No Jazz age flapper would have been complete without a necklace that moved with a tassels - people danced more at parties and weddings in that time. This one is genuine Art Deco (NOT a reproduction) and the necklace hangs 16" long not including the 5-1/8" tassel sautoir drop. The orange beads are 3/16" across with tiny black spacers and the French jet (black glass) beads include round, teardrop and oval shapes, all with facets.
