An Art Deco bakelite and celluloid snake upper arm bracelet circa 1920s. This genuine period survivor measures 3" x 2-7/8" across the interior and the snake's heads are 5/16" across and both have cobalt blue glass rhinestone eyes. The body is black celluloid with an applied clear yellow layer over a bed of embedded sparkly metallic confetti. This Egyptian style figural bracelet is in mostly excellent condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than some groove striations/lines of the yellow section from the black and the usual fine patina of scratches from use, There are a couple of superficial stress cracks in the yellow section as well. Please note the size, as bakelites/celliuloids of this period are not as flexible as modern plastics. All condition issues are noted; all items will have signs of use and patina as would be expected. An Arts and Crafts period 800 silver and cut glass claret jug circa 1900. This antique large claret decanter has a heavy silver handle and hinged top with a ball thumb rest setd on a cut crystal decanter. It measures 13-7/8" in height and 5-1/2" across the base. It is stamped Gebr. Friedland, a Berlin jewellery retai firml, operated by the sons after the death of the founder Friedland in 1829. It has the German silver quality marks (post-1888 crescent & crown stamp), 800 silver, 49961 and the manfacturer's mark for Koch & Bergfeld of Bremen (est. 1829). There is a very finely engraved heraldic family crest with a fish, knight's helmet with three feathers and engraved scrolling. This this top quality rarity is in excellent condition with no cracks, etching or discoloration, silver corrosion or damage, repairs or alterations; there is a 1/4" chip to the crystal on the bottom rim which is only slightly noticeable when the piece is displayed from that side. A 950 silver Komai damascene panels bracelet circa 1900 1920. This scarce bracelet from Japan features eleven 1-1/16" x 3/8" loop-linked panels with inlaid silver and gold on a black matte (actually iron) ground. The panels resemble those in room dividing screens, and each has a different design and a simple engraved design on the back of the silver sections. This antique size 7-1/2 or 7.5 ring features an approximately 18 point antique cut diamond in a sunken star setting (measured by gauge) with hand engraved shoulders. The ring is unmarked with the stamps having been removed when the ring band was re-hooped in the past but it tests as 14k, and the diamond has been tested also. It weighs 4.8 grams. Made by James Dixon & Sons, this basket has ornate repousse decoration in the bowl as well as attractive design to the ornate handle. A Victorian 15k diamond hair brooch circa 1870. This great example of Victorian period sentimental or mourning hair jewellery is in 15k yellow gold with a centrally set genuine 12 pt. rose cut diamond and a compartment on the back containing a curl of blonde hair with a silk cord. The brooch is unmarked but tested and is guaranteed to be gold, and the diamond has been checked with a gemologist. The hair compartment on this 1-7/8" x 1-1/8" pin has the original bevelled glass, and this pin weighs 9.2 grams. The original c-clasp is still present, and it has a small loop for a safety chain (not present).
