A fine vintage cutwork Roden sterling silver napkin ring. Roden was bought out by Birks in 1928. This 5/8" wide napkin ring measures 1-11/16" across the interior and it has a Janie monogram. It is stamped STERLING with the Roden company mark. Birks bought all Roden's inventory and parts and molds, and the Roden mark can be seen on some Birks silver items until several decades after. The 6" teaspoon has an M monogram on the back of the handles and they are stamped with the Lion Anchor G mark plus STERLING COPYWRITED; they weigh 32.1 grams each. A Dutch silver figural sugar sifter spoon from the 1920s. This 5-1/2" nicely detailed table serving spoon features a woman carrying two pails as the finial and the bowl is nicely pierced. It has an obscured maker's mark and a difficult to see sword mark on the join of the handle and bowl and it could date anywhere from the 1900s to the 1950s. A Stromberg-Carlson Model 1243 desk telephone from around 1940. This stylish, heavy black painted metal phone is 8" deep and 5-1/2" wide with a 9-1/4" long hand piece. A great display piece or suitable for use, it has been fitted with modern phone jack wiring and it has the original included schematics mounted on the inside with wiring options, etc. A few wire strands are disconnected and we couldn't get a dial tone, but we couldn't figure out the wiring scheme. It is in very good original condition with no overpainting and only minor paint scrapes and minor signs of rubbing and wear. The dial is a bit stiff, and this item is perfect for a good restoration. A Royal Doulton Pixies D3690 series ware baby or child's bowl circa 1920s. This seldom seen 7-1/2" across ceramic seriesware design shows three green and yellow garbed pixies holding Chinese lanterns. It has the black Royal Doulton England mark with the D 3690 hand painted number. It is in fair condition with no cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than a 5/8" chip to the upper rim and some allover crazing. it was introduced in 1913 and was discontinued by 1929 or 1930. A Maling Peony 6504A large 10-7/8" centerpiece bowl from the 1930s. This English pottery bowl is fully hand painted in cobalt blue with red, purple, yellow and blue peony flowers with green leaves and brown branches.
