An elegant Edwardian period baisse-taille white enamel and sterling silver brooch with fine engine turning and gold inlay, circa 1910. This antique 2" across pin was made by Blackinton of North Attleboro, Massachusetts (1862-1967), It was constructed from French baisse-taille enamel on sterling mounted with a pin assembly with a safety catch. The bright gold flowers and wreath inlaid on the brooch set it off beautifully against the engine-turned design under the enamel. It has a pattern number 9707, and it has some solder where the company attached the pin to the enamel gilt-silver disc. The entire back is satin finish and gilt - the solder is original to the manufacture of the brooch, and is not a repair (enamel has to be heated with extreme care after manufacture). It is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, scrapes, dents, monograms, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. A 19th century Scottish sterling silver agate pebble brooch. This antique 1-1/2" across traditional pin in the form of a hand-engraved sash with crescent. The stones include bloodstone, jasper and another green agate. This pin is unsigned (typical of Scottish pieces) and it tests as silver. It has a c-clasp and a loop for wear as a pendant; it weighs 9.8 grams. This item is in fair condition with no chips, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a crack in the jasper stone and a break on the central stone which has been remounted with some fill at one end along time ago. An impressive Regency period 15k gold long necklace with ornate slide c1830-40. This superb example measures 62" long, it has a large well-made slide with black enamel, and it is constructed of double pulley-style interlinked gold loops. The 1" across and 1/4" thick slide has an engraved L. Gordon inscription on one side; it is unmarked and unsigned but tests as 15k gold. The slide has holes where a scarab or possibly a cameo was mounted (and another piece of your choice could be mounted on it), and it weighs an impressive 59.0 grams (almost 2 ounces!). This item is in otherwise fine condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than the absent slide decoration and open end.
