An Art Deco sterling silver chrysoprase and marcasites ring from the 1920s 1930 period. This size 5 ring is 3/4" across and it features a green genuine chrysoprase curved bevelled stone, surrounded by flashy marquisites in a square setting. The shoulders of the hoop have typical period engraved flower designs and this lovely ring weighs 4.2 grams. It is marked STERLING inside the band and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs. All condition issues are noted. An elegant Edwardian period baisse-taille white enamel and sterling silver brooch with fine engine turning and gold inlay, circa 1910. This antique 2" across pin was made by Blackinton of North Attleboro, Massachusetts (1862-1967), It was constructed from French baisse-taille enamel on sterling mounted with a pin assembly with a safety catch. The bright gold flowers and wreath inlaid on the brooch set it off beautifully against the engine-turned design under the enamel. It has a pattern number 9707, and it has some solder where the company attached the pin to the enamel gilt-silver disc. The entire back is satin finish and gilt - the solder is original to the manufacture of the brooch, and is not a repair (enamel has to be heated with extreme care after manufacture). It is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, scrapes, dents, monograms, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. A striking vintage Mexican sterling pendant set with a mixture of inlaid lapis and malachite, with a large cabochon cut tiger eye gem in the centre c1950-60. Two of the dangling pendants are also inlaid with lapis and malachite, and the centre dangle is solid silver. The pendant alone measures 3-3/4" x 2-1/8", and weighs 26.2 grams. It is stamped STERLING 925 with the eagle mark with a 2 in the centre, and the initials MR. There was a silversmith named Melecio Rodriguez who worked at the Rancho Alegre and for Margot de Taxco, but I can't verify if this is his work or not. It comes with a 18-1/2" sterling heavy link chain (weighs 16.7 grams, not Mexican manufacture). It is in very good condition, but please note than there is 1/8" piece missing from the second inlaid drop of the pendant. Otherwise it is in lovely condition, no breaks, wear, repairs or damage. A Birks sterling marcasites brooch and earrings set from around 1930. This fine, vintage set was sold by Birks, Canada's leading retailer of fine goods. The brooch measures 2-3/8" x 1-5/8", it is laden with glinting graduated marcasites (or marquisites ), it has a safety catch, and it has a superb curled design with great appeal. The screwback earrings measure 7/8" x 3/4" and they have assorted sizes of marcasites and a floral style. This antique German Arts and Crafts silver pin was prodi uced by Gustav Hauber of Schwabisch Gmund, Germany (active 1870-present). It measures 1-5/8 wide and is 2-1/8" long. It has three dangles with facetted natural amethyst gemstones at the end of a poppy like floral pierce-work, plus a central amethyst cabochon. It has the original c-clasp, it is stamped DEP 800 with Gustave Hauber's maker's mark. Arts and Crafts was better known as Jugendstil (young style) in Germany. It weighs 11.2 grams.
