A true and vintage example of period Industrial Art Deco design. This is a 16-1/2" long chrome plated .830 silver necklace featuring a carnelian glass facetted and grooved stone in the central 5/8" wide drop. It has a springring catch and is probably German or Austrian. The necklace has the famous angles, textures and repetitive elements found in true Deco design of the era and this is a fine example of the quintessential elements then in use. A large 10K rotating hair brooch with photo 1860-70. This opulent (typically unmarked but tested) 10k yellow gold rotating or turning hair brooch has a photo on the other side. This mid-Victorian 2-5/8 x 2-3/8" pin features a finely plaited brown and blonde hair display on one side and a hand-tinted albumin photograph of a bearded and bald gentleman on the other. This antique ornate 13-5/8" watchchain is 7/16" wide and it consists of six nickel plated base metal oblong links with fine engraving. Each link is attached by thick loops. A early to mid 19th century period 12k yellow gold watch fob pendant with a shield shaped genuine rock crystal stone. This 7/8" tall fob measures 1/2" x 3/8" across, and it has a genuine bevelled shield shape natural rock crystal stone held with a bezel. The stones has foiling on the back, still visible but dulled and slightly loose with age. It is unmarked but tests as 12k, and it weighs 1.9 grams (the British Empire had 12K as part of their gold standard until 1932). Victorian 14k diamond & opals pendant from 1890-1900. This yellow gold pendant has a central diamond and natural opals surrounding it. The stones are all claw-set, and the old European brilliant cut diamond is 30 points, with I-1 clarity and G-H colour. The opals are genuine natural opals, 3.5-3.4 mm. in size and all have excellent blue, green and red colours (quite intense in real life but somewhat muted in our pictures). This pendant was constructed from a Victorian earring, after the mate was lost. Included is an independent gemmological appraisal in the amount of $1400 Canadian.
