A gold plated saphiret tassels necklace from the 1930s. This superb and vintage (unsigned) gold plated brass necklace has large dramatic tassels with saphiret (or sapphiret) glass stones. This 15-1/2" gold plated brass necklace has a spring-ring clasp and it has five graduated chain and bell tassels suspended from it. The largest tassel measures 3-1/2" long and 1" across the bell; each individual tassel chain ends in a sapphiret glass stone. The farthest left and right tassels have 9 suspended chains and stones, the 2nd and 4th tassel have 11 chains and suspended stones, and the center tassel has 18 chains and suspended stones. There is also a sapphiret at the top of each tassel canopy. This item is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, losses, damage or repairs other than a bit of gold wear at the clasp and some minor corrosion on some of the chain. A favourite piece from my own collection (that no longer fits). An Art Deco sterling silver chrysoprase and marcasites ring from the 1920s 1930 period. This size 5 ring is 3/4" across and it features a green genuine chrysoprase curved bevelled stone, surrounded by flashy marquisites in a square setting. The shoulders of the hoop have typical period engraved flower designs and this lovely ring weighs 4.2 grams. It is marked STERLING inside the band and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs. All condition issues are noted. A hand carved yellow Bakelite bangle 1930s. This 7/16" wide bracelet measures 2-1/2" across the interior and 1/4" thick; the carving is deep, and this bracelet is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs. An outstanding Art Deco sterling silver enamel and marcasites pendant necklace circa 1930. The pendant itslf measures 2" x 1" (including enamelled bale loop). It features colorful matte enamel in of geometric flowers in lilac, yellow, orange, lime green, blue and black with various sizes of marquisites. Please note that the colors may appear several shades brighter in our pictures than they are in real life, and the blue is a light royal blue, not turquoise. It is stamped EN in a kidney-shaped cartouche and STERLING on the back - we are still researching the maker. it weighs 7.5 grams (pendant only). We were unable to find any corresponding information about this mark, at first glance it looks very much like a piece produced by the Theodor Farhner firm, who were well known for such fine matte enamel finishes and the extensive use of marquisites. It is shown with a very recent sterling silver chain which is not included. This item is in good condition with no cracks, dents, bends, corrosion or repairs other than a visible loss to the red-orange enamel and a couple of very short surface abrasions to the blue (just visible with a loupe). A splendid 17-1/2" carved and lathe turned bakelite necklace c1920s-30s. This necklace consists of turned and hand-carved bakelite beads in oval, round and barrel forms; the colours include off-white, swirled tan, 2 colour pale green and brown. Most beads have variable colour layers and stripes, and the between triple disc striped spacers are all one piece. This unsigned necklace has the original brass barrel clasp and it ranges from 3/16" to 3/4" wide. This item is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs. A Chinese articulated silver gilt fish pin circa 1930s. This fantastically detailed and superbly constructed 2-1/2 x 3/4" fish pin is lushly gilded and it is fully articulated and it has natural coral eyes. It has a safety clasp and the mouth is hinged and opens (for what purpose we don't know). This size 5-1/4 or 5.25 ring has an older independent gemological appraisal in the amount of $1800, and the diamonds include a central antique brilliant cut .36 carat of SI-2 clarity (small girdle chip only visible under a 10X loupe) with G colour along with four brilliant cut side diamonds (total .05 ct.). This ring weighs 2.1 grams and It is 3/16" wide across the main diamond. An 18k yellow gold wedding ring circa 1950s. This vintage size 8 wedding band has a rounded upper shape and is 18K solid gold. This classic design ring weighs approximately 4.6 grams and it is 1/8" (or 3.4mm) wide and 1/16" (1.74mm) thick. It is marked HARWOOD and 18K. Harwood was one of the jewellery designs by W & H Jewelry Company,Inc. (Providence, Rhode Island, known 1940s-1965).
