These 11" x 8-1/4" baskets have the red painted Derby mark of this period, and they feature wonderful floral hand painted sprays and gilding. This pair is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, staining, repairs or damage other than some minor loss to a bit of overglaze painting on one bowl (restorable) and some overall fine crazing. We seldom see pairs of fine cake baskets from this period any more. A 950 silver Komai damascene panels bracelet circa 1900 1920. This scarce bracelet from Japan features eleven 1-1/16" x 3/8" loop-linked panels with inlaid silver and gold on a black matte (actually iron) ground. The panels resemble those in room dividing screens, and each has a different design and a simple engraved design on the back of the silver sections. It also has a long safety chain and a box clasp which is stamped 950 SILVER. This bracelet measures 7-1/8" x 1/1/8". An Art Deco 14k green sardonyx white gold ring from the 1920s. This size 3-1/4 ring features an 11/16 x 7/16" sardonyx cameo and it has engraved scrollwork on the shoulders (somewhat worn down over time). This ring weighs 2.6 grams, and it is stamped 14K. A 10K white gold synthetic Alexandrite ring circa 1960. This vintage size 5 ring measures 3/8" x 3/8" across the claws, which hold a faceted synthetic Alexandrite stone which changes colour from purple to more of a gray-blue depending on the ambient lighting. These simulated alexandrites are usually corundum laced with vanadium to produce the color change under different types of lighting, or a treated colourless chrysoberyl. This created gemstone has been around for almost 100 years, and the stones usually test as corundums on a gem tester (natural genuine alexandrites are expensive and uncommon, most of what you will see for sale is the simulated version). This ring weighs 2.6 grams, it is marked 10K with a circled A maker's mark, and the stone measures approximately 8mm x 8mm x 5mm, or approximately 2.3 carats. It is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. A quality late 19thC 750 silver jug with baronial crests by J Wagner and Sohn ( Son ) Germany. This antique 5-1/4" tall cream pitcher has a wrythen or twisted groove style and a thumb rest as well as classic hoof shape feet. It is stamped J. WAGNER & SOHN 750 M, it weighs 195 grams, and it has two finely engraved baronial heraldic crests engraved on one side indicating that it was probably originally a wedding present. A Victorian 14k yellow gold diamond ring with a nice quality antique round cut diamond circa 1890-1900. This antique size 7-1/2 or 7.5 ring features an approximately 18 point antique cut diamond in a sunken star setting (measured by gauge) with hand engraved shoulders. The ring is unmarked with the stamps having been removed when the ring band was re-hooped in the past but it tests as 14k, and the diamond has been tested also. It weighs 4.8 grams. A vintage framed advertising picture extolling Grand Marnier. This 18-3/4 x 12-3/4" picture is in a shadowbox style frame with a Marnier bottle on an orange on the left side and a drinking couple with orange on the other on a printed background. This poster is cased with a reverse printed glass windowwith clouds and the Marnier slogan. The space between the print and glass gives a three dimensional effect to the ad. A charming vintage miniature pair of folk art paintings c1950s. This pair of miniature scenic view oil paintings depicts scenes the Gravenhurst, Ontario area. These 4-3/4" x 3-3/4" sight size paintings come in white painted 6" x 5" frames, and each was painted by May House. One shows "Muskoka Bay from Green Acres, W. Gravenhurst" and the other "Montgomery's Point + Gateway Hotel, from W. Gravenhurst". The kosher hotel (1949-1961) catered to Jewish vacationers from Toronto. A superb sterling silver repousse locket and engraved chain dated 1884. A fine example of sumptious Victorian sterling silver craftsmanship! This 2-1/4 x 1-5/8" sterling silver photo locket has a complex design and inset rose and green gold highlights on the central flower. It has a full set of Birmingham, England silver hallmarks on the undecorated side corresponding to the year 1884, and it has an I.H maker's mark. This pendant includes the ornately hand engraved 18-1/4 x 5/8" flat-link chain necklace, which has a large springring catch. This necklace weighs 53.4 grams, and it is in very good condition with no bends, corrosion, losses or damage except for some fine denting on the plain back, tool marks from the flattening of some dents and some identifying symbols on the interior. Please not that although this locket closes firmly it shows a slight gap on the edge when closed (probably from the dent removal work). Certainly the finest and most decorative vintage chocolate box we've come across! This is a c1930s-40s (we think) paper wrapped box with an applied print of two kittens on the top. The textured paper wrap is wallpaper thick with lush gold highlights, and this box has a gold Urney applique. The original tied ribbon is also present on this 13-3/4 x 9-3/4" box, which has the original sticker on the bottom (CHOCOLATES - 1-1/2 LB NET MANUFACTURED IN THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND). A silver plated grape & vine cocktail 7 pc. set from the 1930s with the tray. This scarce set includes the 11-1/4" cocktail shaker with lid and spout cap, five 5" footed goblets with gilt bowls, and the 22-3/4 x 13-3/4" two-handled tray with fine engraving. Each piece is stamped OLD ENGLISH REPRODUCTION SILVER PLATE ON COPPER B.M.MTS along with the item number, except for the tray which has LEAD MTS. and WM. A. ROGERS as well. A triple Mercury dime punch out gilt silver pin 1917. This stamped Liberty head gilt silver pin comprises three 1917 American Mercury silver dimes. Each coin is "punched out" with high relief Liberty heads with excellent detail, and they are soldered together, gilded, and mounted with a brass c-clasp pin. It is unsigned, and such vintage embossed coins are eagerly collected. This pin weighs 8.0 grams, and it is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs.
