Hand engraved and fully hallmarked for London, England 1882, this 3-3/4" mug features a leaf and floral design on both sides (both slightly different). It has an unidentified maker's mark and a 353/0 pattern number on the bottom. It retains traces of the original internal gilding and it weighs 155 grams. It has a fancy monogram of GETC. A Victorian ornate silver and gold plated watch chain circa 1870s. This antique ornate 13-5/8" watchchain is 7/16" wide and it consists of six nickel plated base metal oblong links with fine engraving. Each link is attached by thick loops. Every alternating link has gold plated engraved inserts held with three thin metal bands. It has a swivel and it is unsigned and unmarked. This handsome gentleman's pocket watch accessory is in good condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than the loss of the the loops on one link and loss of some of the plating. A large 10K rotating hair brooch with photo 1860-70. This opulent (typically unmarked but tested) 10k yellow gold rotating or turning hair brooch has a photo on the other side. This mid-Victorian 2-5/8 x 2-3/8" pin features a finely plaited brown and blonde hair display on one side and a hand-tinted albumin photograph of a bearded and bald gentleman on the other. Each side is under glass and the center display rotates freely on its perpendicular pivot. It has its original c-clasp and attached loop for wear as a pendant, and it weighs 27.6 grams. The photo has some red blush added to his cheeks and lips; this is somewhat faded in our photos and it is quite apparent in real life. A pair of English Imari lustre jugs from the 1830s. This decorative unmarked pair of early to mid 19thC English jugs or pitchers is in the Imari colours with pink Sunderland luster. The largest is 8" tall and the smaller is 7"; both have embossed decoration and are hand painted. These jugs are in excellent condition with no cracks, losses, damage or repairs except for some minor glaze flakes and craze lines on the upper rim of the larger jug, some allover crazing on the smaller jug, a couple of straight-line craze lines on the smaller one that don't appear on the external side of the piece, and some very minor spots of wear to the decoration. A fine hand painted and gold trimmed Dresden factory painted porcelain lidded jam or marmalade pot by Donath & Co. c1900. This 5-1/2" tall serving piece features different floral scenes on each panel between the footed columns and on the lid; it is marked with DRESDEN with the crown mark for Donath & Co. (1893-1916), and it has a gold rose painted over the Thomas maker's name. It also has the retailer's stamp for Ryrie Bros. Ltd. of Toronto (who were bought out by Birks in the 1920s). The openwork setting on this 1-1/8 x 15/16" pin has a gatelatch clasp and a fully-functional swing-up rotating loop for wear as a pendant. A 1970s pewter and glass necklace by Jergen Jensen of Denmark. The 1-7/8" x 1-1/8" pendant is on the 21-1/4" long original chain with a spring-ring catch. The pewter has a soft brushed finish, and the pendant is stamped PEWTER JERGEN JENSEN DENMARK 360 A. A Rogers Intl Remembrance silver plated large water pitcher. This "Go-With" silver plated serving piece is from the International 1847 Rogers Remembrance flatware pattern. Along with the flatware, many patterns had serving pieces available which were all expensive and seldom purchased; they included tea sets, pitchers, trays, etc. This is the 10" tall water pitcher which is stamped REMEMBRANCE 1847 ROGERS BROS. This 1-1/2 x 1-1/4" pin pendant features a maiden carved out of a yellowish-grey shell; it is bezel-mounted in the gold setting (unmarked but tested (both 12k and 15k gold were used as part of the United Kingdom gold standard until 1932). The setting has a gate-latch clasp and a fully swivelling folding loop for wear as a pendant. A 10k mourning pin with hair circa 1860-70. This unmarked mid-Victorian 10k yellow gold 1-3/4" x 1-1/2" mourning hair brooch features a (tested) 10k yellow gold setting with either an onyx or black enamel ground in which is inserted a blonde hair arrangement under glass. The hair is curled, with gold wirework and seed pearl decoration. This pin has no inscription, it has a c-clasp (the pin is not gold), and it has an attached gold filled safety chain and pin. An R.A. Kidston 20" London scene United Kingdom meat platter circa 1840. This is an early Scottish large blue transferware well and tree meat platter in blue transfer. This platter stands on two bracket feet and the juice well; it is stamped R.A.K. & Co. UNITED KINGDOM LONDON for R.A. Kidston and Co. Finnieston (part of Glasgow) Scotland who used this mark from 1838-1845. The Coysh & Henrywood Blue and White Printed Pottery reference book mentions this series, but not this actual scene of London - I have never run across this pattern piece before. It is in good condition with no cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than some fine overall crazing, a bit of minor bruising to one foot rim (intact with no losses), a 5/8" edge chip and some staining (mostly on the back). A Gorham silver plated open chafing dish on stand from the 1900 era. This top quality late Victorian era warming dish measures 9-5/8" across and it sits on the ornately designed heavy quality footed stand, which has a large fuel well with a turned handle. It has two mechanical burners - the long thumbwheels open the lids and raise and lower the wicks in the same motion, snuffing the flames. The burners are mounted in a fitted top which sits on the fuel well; they are stamped PAT'D AUG 29.1899. The stand is marked with the GMCo EP anchor mark for Gorham and it has a pattern number 0560, which also appears on the dish. This item is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a tight crack on the natural material of the handle.
