| A vintage and attractive size 9-1/2 genuine star moonstone ring c1920s-30s. This ring features a 14mm. x 12mm. bezel-set moonstone, which measures approximately 9mm. deep. As sometimes found on similar vintage moonstone rings, the bottom of the stone is hand painted in blue, which gives the stone a blue star sapphire appearance and colour when viewed from the top (it is white from the side). The ring has superb, razor-sharp asterism, and it shows a vivid star under direct lighting, especially halogens. Our photos don't show off the star very well, and it is quite impressive in real life. The ring is stamped 10K, it weighs 8.5 grams, and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use.
