| An exquisitely carved black onyx portrait cameo mounted on a 15k yellow gold pin base with seed pearls. This c1890s 1-5/8 x 3/4" brooch has quality wirework and the carving is particularly fine; the (unmarked but tested) mount has had its pin housing replaced with a safety catch mounted to a fitted brass rod, on which the gold has been remounted. This pin weighs 3.4 grams, and this lovely pin is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than the pin replacement. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use.
