| A superb and vintage (unsigned) gold plated brass necklace with large dramatic tassels with saphiret (or sapphiret ) glass stones c1930s. This 15-1/2" gold plated on brass necklace has a spring-ring catch, and it has five graduated chain and bell tassels suspended from it. The largest tassel measures 3-1/2" long and 1" across the bell; each individual tassel chain ends in a sapphiret glass stone. The farthest left and right tassels have 9 suspended chains and stones, the 2nd and 4th tassel has 11 chains and suspended stones, and the centre tassel has 18 chains and suspended stones. There is also a sapphiret at the top of each tassel canopy. This item is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, losses, damage or repairs other than a bit of gold wear at the clasp and some minor corrosion on some of the chain. A favourite piece from my own collection (that no longer fits). All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use.
